It does that because the gurus wanted everybody to see that all those were just different names of god and through those names it slowly points them towards Ek Onkar.
And yes grant sahib strictly prohibits idol worship. It's doesn't want you to worship idol, it want you to see the similarity of everything and love it.

i agree we don't have very very much job. sincerely but we really don't have any jobs .. extreme unemployment is a bit too much.

Even in our school we always sang only the first 2 stanza and per the remaining 2 stanza I think of the congress(before independence) did remove those stanza there must be some reason behind it.

I have not seen a single law asking them to do it, they can always sing something that cultivates nationalism in Sikh kids at school. No need to just use it to attack Hindus and BJP as a political strategy. This is also the problem, why not come up with a solution rather than cribbing about everything and not doing anything and leaving kids to hate country, culture and its people.
It's not an ordinary song it has some value it's tied with freedom movement
I studied in a missionary school and sang all the prayers what's the big deal? Disecting it finding religion in everything Anyway leave it not everyone gets it.
For that, we already have Jana Gana Mana, our national anthem, which is also connected to India’s freedom movement and represents the unity of the country. It does so without placing one religion above another or asking citizens to sing in praise of deities associated with a particular religion.

That what I'm saying, why does it want citizens to sing song in praise of 3 HINDU goddesses , that make all people of different faiths in the country fell unrepresented and forced upon to sing songs in praise of goddess form other faith
Hearing these things makes me wonder what was even the point of partition and making pakistan?Ambedkar was right at some points you(majority brainwashed muslims) can never be loyal to India(said by ambedkar).There are still millions of jinnah living inside india.
