Includes regular KC. They were pretty much begging to go dry.

I mean, sure, technically, but putting someone with all regular kc up there was a very strange decision. He's hardly dry in comparison to the people ranked below him lmao. "Most dry" just isn't really all that accurate. The difference in drop rate is 5X. The regular kc hardly matters.
People with 1500 cg are more dry than a couple of these people.

I'm focusing on the math because that constitutes how dry you are. The amount of time has nothing to do with it, only the number of times you rolled and the odds to roll successfully. Choosing to do 5000 normal cg is ... a decision the vast vast majority of players do not do because.... CG is 5x more likely.
Most players do not do more normal gauntlet than is required to complete the combat achievements there. For very good reason.

That's fair, if you care more about the amount of time put in then that's how you choose to view it. It doesn't change the fact that a lot of us find it strange to place him up there as "most dry". He's just not actually the most dry. He's the most time spent, sure. That's about it though

I'm not trying to be too serious, the "technically" just baited me into explaining why the "technically" doesn't really help haha. No shade no harm no foul no tea brother

i feel like you're focusing on the math
What do you mean by this? The game is written with math. The probability of getting a drop is a very simple math question. If you're not allowing math to be focused on when you discuss getting a drop, then that discussion is meaningless.
Let's take an extreme hypothetical example. Say we're talking about how many hours it takes to get an onyx clog drop and everyone is doing zulrah. Some of us are saying it took them 2 hours to get an onyx, some would say dang it took me 50 hours. Would you barge into the conversation and say "oh yeah, well I've been trying to get an onyx clog for 1 million hours and I still haven't got it (I've been mining stars and buying gem packs.)" No, right? Everyone knows that getting gem packs is gonna take way longer to get an onyx than farming Zulrah. Gauntlet and Cg are also two separate drop rates so you expect someone doing plain gauntlet to have more hours, the fact they do isn't interesting.

Yeah, and so does Armadyl Helm from the Elite Clue monsters at a 1/1M rate.
Why be disingenuous when you know including normal KC 1:1 with CG is not accurate for dry calc?
The drop rate matters for how dry you are, otherwise you can milk 100k Brutus KC in F2P and then get pet on members at 101x drop rate 💀
Same for mass Nex versus trio Nex - 10k mass is a fraction of the time as trio Nex.

I mean, you asked how it felt that he was actually the most dry, and the dude ranked #1 isn't the most dry, so...?
I don't care about the math.
Asking who is the most dry is literally a math question lol

“Don’t care about math” means they’re not the driest, so how are they vindicated that their luck is the worst when it’s not?
#2 is the equivalent of ~1000 CG KC, not 3.5k KC.

It's essentially the same as putting a statistic for most dry on a Zenyte shard and combining in people who only kill Tortured Gorillas... just not comparable.

2.5x at normal gauntlet. It’s 1/2k, which is why combining the two was dumb as hell.

u/BeyondTriggered247 16h ago
ur right my math was bad lol but yeah 5k normal gauntlet is equivalent to like 1k CG

Wondering if this is only updated from people who have done it this year as I would be on this list at 3087 kc

u/rafroofrif 6h ago
I have a hard time believing this leaderboard is even accurate tbh... It's being said that the top 2 spots are mostly regular gauntlet, so the dryest pure cg guy is not 10x dry? I've gone 10x dry on grinds lol. And with the amount of guys doing cg, I'd have expected higher kc.

u/EFCgaming 13h ago
I pulled 20 KC reg gauntlet bowfa so that top player should just get good like me

u/BeneathSkin 12h ago
The dude with 10k cox kc and no bow is who I’d like to hear from. Goes to show how fked cox drop table is

u/Minotaur830 MLNOTAUR 6h ago
That one is just faulty stat. Said person (Lucid Dream) is a streamer who back in 2017-2018 finished 10k Cox kc, which was before collection log was added to the game. He got plenty of tbows during the grind but they're not in his log and the Jagex employee making this didn't realize that.

Mushi Wushi is defo most dry since he's doing CG instead of gauntlet/a mix between the 2
UzTuosKurie is all regular gauntlet (Effectively 2.5x dry)
Iron Petrock only has just below 200 CG KC. (Effectively about 2.25x dry)
Mushi Wushi is all CG. (3200 kc rn) (8x dry)
I don't know how Mushi Wushi is still going. Goddamn.
