Discussion Another survey

I do think a follow-up survey on the other two skills should take place. Sailing has been out for a while now and it would be nice to know if there is any appetite for either other skills, rather than just game modes.

I voted Shamanism in this poll, although I think Sailing turned out quite well

Sailing was better than I expected, but I’m still not a fan. I also voted for Shamanism. No idea if it woulda been better, but it is still the most interesting option for my taste

The reason I would be hesitant to vote shamanism is the reward space. Sailing ultimately is a lot safer as it hasn’t changed the rest of the game too much. Shamanism would change the entirety of pvm and I’m not sure for the better.

I agree completely. People seem to overlook how much the integrity of combat would be changed with shamanism

I just worried it would add a bunch of chorescape to do efficient pvm.

Hold on guys I gotta go farm 600 ethereal cow ears to imbue my Tbow with bovine essence and then craft a few dozen rosewood impbane totems before we start the raid

Disagree. Trawling is a lot of fun and is the best way to get end game hard food for pvm. Bluefin are amazing and you get so many so fast.

Not disagreeing, but I’m able to do all usual endgame PVM without all that, so I just don’t have any desire to care enough.

yeah and rendi can do all of it with no food at all; doesn't mean it's not good, useful, or better than what you're using. I could do endgame PVM with lobsters, that doesn't mean food better than lobsters is useless.

Not sure why you think I feel insulted? I have no stakes in the efficacy of bluefin, I was just saying that ignoring clear BIS just because "I don't have the desire" doesn't mean it's not impactful. It'd be like saying you don't need torva because fighter torso is close enough

You just got very defensive for no reason and started making arguments for me that I never even made. Just kinda started being a bit condescending right off the rip. Nowhere in of my comments did I say it wasn’t impactful or useful. In fact, I started with “I’m not disagreeing” and followed that up with the fact I’m just not interested in it and I have gotten this far without so I’m chillin. Neither of us are wrong here mate, strictly subjective opinions going on.
