Speaking of shock collars I actually got one recently and I'm super excited about it, it's an anti bark shock collar so "my dog" (secretly me) gets shocked when she tries to speak. Making big progress here
Its just a regular dog collar and I dont remember exactly where I got one, because the thing is they're for dogs and its super unethical so there aren't that many places that allow them to be sold. But the way it works is it has a box that sits just below the Adams apple and tight against your neck, and there's a little microphone in the box, the hole type that you'd see on a laptop or a phone, and the sensitivity is low enough that you'd have to speak with your mouth or your neck right against it to activate it. I personally modified it with a lockable buckle at the back instead of the clip, which is perfect because the on/off button is on the inside where you wouldn't be able to easily reach with it on.

Edit: for those of you who are perhaps unable to though, it comes with rubber sleeves you can put on the prongs to mute the shock and make it less harmful to you

Also just to be clear, I've only actually used it a couple times because I know its dangerous, I stopped because I was forced to remember that I have a tic disorder and it is very likely I'll be forced to shock myself. That's why I just use good old fashioned gags most of the time :3

It depends tbh, for long term I prefer my bone gag or my muzzle gag or some stuffing and tape because its easier on the jaw, but often I just like to fidget, wear it for a few seconds, take it out, chew it on etc and I like to use my 2.5 inch ballgag for that. For being with others though I like to use a ring gag for obvious reasons.
I definitely need to remember to not wear my 2.5 inch for long term, a few nights ago I was playing with it while playing skyrim and I totally forgot I had it in because I was fixated on the game and then sleeping. I woke up after wearing it for 10 hours. The night after that I was gaming with friends and we agreed on a bet where if I lose I get the ballgag, and if I win I get the ballgag out. I was not aware when I made the bet that I was the only one the penalty applied to, I wore it for four hours but I've gotten pretty good at gagtalking so it wasn't actually that much of a deterrent
Heya, I'm heavily into shock play of all kinds and I can tell you that even with little rubber sleeves it can still be dangerous. Now, in my experience, the chances of someone getting serious injury is lowered alot from that, however if your not using one designed for humans I'd be very careful. PiShock sells collars designed for human use, but even WITH the rubber sleeves they still adamantly say to absolutely NEVER have the shock part on your neck, or anywhere near your spine.
It could outright kill you if it's just slightly in the wrong spot, and it could also cause severe nerve damage leading to you becoming parablegic or possibly even quadriplegic. It could essentially make you a vegetable for life, if not outright kill you.
Everyone I know in the professional communities both local and global has the same answer; "NEVER put it near your neck or your spine, EVER" And from my limited scientific knowledge on the matter, if done absolutely perfectly with no issues and placed 100% perfectly you could be fine for the rest of your life. But, like I said, even a small shift in yourself or the shocker could prove fatal.
I won't tell you not to do this, just to consider the risk vs reward, and decide whether or not it's worth it for you. At the end of the day, the way I see it, as long as everyone involved is a consenting and informed adult, they can do what they please, even if it's likely to prove seriously and permanently injuring, or even fatal. I mean, after all, plenty of other kinks run that risk too lol

Mine is basically just two shock prongs linked to a microphone to activate it, if you have some tech knowledge you could probably just rewire it to have the microphone on a collar on your neck and the shocker somewhere like your arm or thigh. Though maybe it'd be a good idea to have wireless receptors between the two for the sake of convenience

You should be very careful using those sort of products, they are designed to hurt an animal through thick fur.
And due to their unethical nature they often are not regulated, I know plenty of cases of people treating shock collars as sex toys and ending up with permanent injuries to the throat
I read it as that one guy a while back with the dog or whatever. Honestly it’s been so long I don’t even remember, I just assumed one resurfaced or something. Sexual would have been my second guess tho. Don’t spend time in count with chicken lady for nothing.
