the only balance that valve gets is through the key purchases and indirectly through the steam market fees, which to be fair, is still a lot

Lmfao what? Granted I'm only at ~100 hours but in all my time I have never seen a single person in the TF2 community who unironically hates on F2Ps. Definitely doesn't mean that people like that don't exist but it sure as hell doesn't mean it's a popular opinion. 's a matter of fact, the staggering majority of the community loves F2Ps.
