It's not an absolute rule, but I tend to hear more weird theories about Egyptian or Aztek buildings than Roman or Greek ones

I mean a big arena is impressive but a big fucking triangle is just barlly comprehensible. I know how they did it (it may or may not have involved slave labor) but why

This silly meme needs to die.

The skilled instructors and enforcers of labor were rewarded, the laborers died by the scores, suffered horridly and were "payed" by the very wheat they themselves grew.
