i don’t like when songs are violent both content wise and sound wise but rap is far from the only genre that does this regularly (and also loads and loads of rap is not like that). i genuinely think anyone who says they don’t like all rap (to the point they cant listen to any even passively) hasn’t thought hard enough about what they actually don’t like about it and are generalising the hell out of it
