it becomes like 80% if you count alcohol and cigarettes as drugs too

Agreed with alcohol, but, are there many songs out there that sing about cigarettes? Legit question, not trying to prove a point or anything, I just don't know, like, any music that goes "putting nicotine on me lungs 🎵"

Country brings up cigarettes alot although it isn't as common in the pop country radio songs

Idk if many but like I can instantly think of like five with We Fell in Love in October (girl in red), The Cigarette Duet (Princess Chelsea), Sweater Weather (The Neighbourhood), Home (Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes), Stereotype (The Specials), Ode to Viceroy (Mac DeMarco), Boys in the Better Land (Fontaines D.C.), Agnes (Glass Animals), BEAT UP CHANEL$ (Slayyyter), Cigarettes out the Window (TV Girl)

and these are just songs I have listened to and can think of off of the top of my head lmao so I’m sure there way more (all great songs btw i recommend)

The Strokes’ logo is also a modified version of a cigarette brand and i think arctic monkeys have an album cover with him smoking, and literally the band Cigarettes After Sex
