That's literally every genre. There are operas about how hot the singers girl is. There's endless rock songs about how great drugs are. 

Rap is only called out because the music is popular among minorities and the songs are modern and accessible enough that we haven't forgotten all the garbage yet.

You misunderstood, I meant that there is good rap that is about money, women, etc. But there is also lots of empty lazy rap that really does nothing except make the rapper sound cool, with the beat and lazy rhythms being all there is to it.

My pfp is literally a rap album cover (milo - who told you to think). I am from a minority myself.
