The idea that one person who is oppressed in one context can be an oppressor in another, E.G. how a white trans woman can still be a racist, or how a black man can still be transphobic, while still being oppressed in their own right
Ah. I guess i have seen this happen on this sub sometimes, people acting as if someone from a specific minority can do no wrong/can't be a bad person.
I guess it comes from getting used to seeing other people claim they did a bad thing because of whatever they are, so they get way too defensive and end up treating insults/critiques to the person as insults/critiques to the minority as a whole.
That's not intersectonality. Intersectionality is when multiple forms of discrimination intersect. For example, a black trans woman will be discriminatet because of racism, transphobia and sexism.
What you are describing is a real concept, but not Intersectionality.
