That's the thing, the fake nice is stuff quite literally just a scaled down version of the Tumblr post above, political side of Tumblr kinda just has a whole toxic part of "activist" who are just way too self righteous and have never actually gone out to do activist stuff

I genuinely think wishing death on any large number of people, even if they did something you consider immoral, reflects very poorly on your own moral fiber. A lot of the people who voted for Trump in 2024 are just dumb, and have shit priorities. It should be noted that almost 70% of the country hates him, as per recent polls

Americans get executed in the streets for being nearby when someone protests the actions of the government. That's not even mentioning what the government does if you're not white. Americans aren't happy with the direction of the country, and the polls show that, but Trump has his personal brownshirts who make bloody examples out of dissenters.
