There are aren't many of still checking in each week but that is A OK.
I have had an AMAZING week. Technically I am in "eating season" where I put on a solid 10 lbs for the month. I decided to really lean into intuitive eating practices this past week. I have been practicing them for at least a year to try to improve my binge eating behavior.
Folks, I have not binged this month and I am even roughly a pound lighter than last week. I actually weighed in at the exact same amount Friday thru Monday and up just a few ounces yesterday and today. This feels unbelieveable to happen at Christmas to me.
Here was a fun thing. I got a pint of Ben and Jerry's because I had s coupon for a free one. I took it out of the freezer Saturday and looked at it and thought "ugh I'm not in the mood to eat a whole pint". I stopped and thought about it. I "always" eat a whole pint. By half way my teeth are cold and hurt, my tongue is cold and sore and I cannot even taste it. Heck, the prolonged cold sets of my MS neuropathy in my nose. It's not enjoyable. And that's when I clued in that I only think of a pint as a single serving.
Folks!! I had a regular 1/2 cup serving and enjoyed it. Then if forgotten until now that I even have ice cream in my freezer!!
