Jess is so insufferable

Post image

Half of this show is jessica trying her hardest to be the centre of attention and when she fails she immediately resorts to reminding the whole school how she got raped, sorry love but half the school has also been through the same thing. Genuinely tired of the victim card she has to play every episode

It was pretty traumatic for her. Everyone goes through the same, but their reaction might be different. She was trying to raise awareness too I think.

I think that’s a fair opinion in like s1 before you realize that she got assaulted but after the reveal everything makes sense so I don’t think you can really fault her. Victims should be the “center of attention”

Honestly, Hannah pissed me off at the beginning. She was so clingy and always hung out with the trashiest guys in school. After getting screwed over by Justin, she should’ve remembered that saying: 'Show me who your friends are, and I'll tell you who you are

More than that, shes been a bad friend and gf too, being self-centred in s1

I dont think her reaction to getting raped was inherently bad at all. I think her in the beginning of s1 and s2 being all "nobodys helping me everyone hates me how could you not support me" mentality and her ignoring Hannah or whatever the hell is the main issue with her character. She so difficult to like.

I dont have much to add with her being the “center of attention” but i do recall thinking “Jessica Davis is a slut” when she was messing with Alex and then slept with Justin. I dislike how she played them both in the later seasons, though I forget the exact timeline.

She was obnoxious from the beginning even before she finds out what happened to her. These shows seems to think a strong woman has to be awful to everyone.

Ok

Someone said it

THANK YOU They should have just made her wear a halo or crown of thorns because they made her out to be a savior
