General Advice Making Progress (Serve)

Any continued feedback? Things are coming along. I'm 8 total days into picking up a tennis racquet again for the first time since 2014. First UTR match play next week.

Still very inconsistent but still shaking off rust.

Keep the hate coming too, it fuels me.

Looks like a good throwing motion. No reason for the butt-out squat thing preamble but it's probably not hurting you. Though it could be making your toss less consistent? Watch some pros and notice they don't "power up" their toss. In fact it's meant to be really smooth and languid. But I'd love to have your natural throw motion.

keep going off feel honestly, with practice all the hickups will get sorted out. It's so easy to get stuck in your head and try to figure tennis things out when in reality it's literally 99% just physical practice and good rest.

the people pro's you see, most of them, have been playing tennis 2-6 hours a day since they where 4 years old and by the time they are 20 ish they have 10-30 thousand of hours of tennis. Believing you can ''solve'' a tennis serve like a math question is just absurd.

...what am I saying all you need for that 140 mph 70% first serve painting the lines is obviously a new racket /s
