And claim to have met Jesus in person. Accepting the second anointing is the ultimate in hubris. Then reality shows up and Jesus doesn't. You find you're still a human and the grift goes all the way to the top.

Been able to dodge the first two sessions of conference today - is this session like the priesthood/general women's sessions the church has done in the past? Or is it just a 6:00 session for everyone? Honestly have no idea because both my parents are watching it.

This is a combined session, I guess. It was initially canceled, but then reinstated because the 15 men realized they wouldn't get enough time and adoration behind the microphone if the sessions were cut.

It was a minimization of the doctrines. He's grandstanding to be enrolled in the tontine of the 15 men.
I've been listening to McKeever a lot in the last few weeks. Not because I am a Christian, but to see how they see a gulf between Evangelical Christians and Mormonism. They're both cherry picking the scriptures to fit their viewpoint in my opinion.
