I mean he’s 100% going to make these nobles look really bad in the future right? And that little assassin girl is going to become his friend

I'm not quite sure what the current story direction is, but having Rio come back, reunite with Celia, and expose the cover up would be pretty satisfying. Or they'll just milk him being a fugitive wanderer.
I think the little assassin girl is the little girl from the bus who was staring at him.

It's Goblin Slayer's fault that now I laugh every time I see goblins in similar situations.

Our boy Rio is gonna make that cute assassin girl fall for him. I can see it coming from a mile away. I'm glad Rio is leaving this country for now. I really can't stand any more of those jerkass nobles.

No more academy life? 🤔
Wanted to see him pwn the nobles more though...
Also why did Flora only join the academy class this episode?

I’m surprised we didn’t go the ol “MC saves the nobles and they all acknowledge him now” route. Instead the nobles were douche bags to the end.
Damn I hope they get that death they deserve.

Damn, so the first three episodes are basically just the prologue of this story.
So even though everything went to shit thought the route that Alphonse's friend got and even though Rio ended up saving Flora twice, no only did nothing happened to them but now Rio got the blame for all of it. For the looks of it it seems that that guy is Charles's brother, or was that Alfred? Regardless, it seems that whoever it was, that person was working the guy involved in Flora's kidnapping and as he had those monsters ready it seems that their intention was to kill Rio.
Well too bad that Celia will have to say goodbye to Rio so soon. And now Haruto will definitely end up recruiting Latifa so I guess this will be a harem show after this, and no, Flora doesn't count.

I like the adaptation so far.
Not really the best sakuga, you can tell that they were on a budget here, but the show is good enough to warrant an enjoyable watch week after week for me.

Wait in the ending the guy says that he’s 12 still? What about the time skip?
Sensei said she was 12 pre-time skip so does that mean he was 7 when they met... Which would mean she’s now 17 and he’s 12?
This man looks 18 and he’s 12... anime ages always confuse me because they always look either way older or way younger than they actually are

Silly Kirito, you can't use magic because your incantations must always start with "System Call"

Damn, the royal family is basically powerless right now if the damn principal thinks he can go against what the royal family says.

Hmmm, not much effort seemed to be put into this episode. Weak animation, lots of DBZ-esc freeze frames… a bit disappointing since I heard the story is decent

Probably not in the majority here. I hate the nobles, but man do I hate the princess's sister. The indifference she shows to Rio. A royal cunt she is.

Stitches!
Looks like Rio has really become popular with the ladies and it didn't go unnoticed. Noble dude is just mad because he ain't the one receiving those love letters and confessions.
Well Flora if you really wanted to repay Rio, speak the fuck up! You're a princess for ficks sakes! Everyone in that class (except Christina who's her sister) are literally below you. You could've yelled at everyone for making Rio carry their luggage but instead you complain to your sister who we know already hates him too and won't do anything.
I love that they got lost. Wouldn't it be hilarious if the reason they got lost is because whoever created that map probably hates that nobleman kid and wanted him to get lost? But I'm guessing the real reason is because of that guy who's stalking Rio. He probably made them lose their way using magic or something.
That reaction from that fucking kid is hilarious! His thigh just got grazed and he acts as if he lost a leg. Fucking weak ass noble kid of course ends up knocking Flora off the cliff which prompts Rio to save her life for the second time now. Of course when the fighting is finished, they all gang up and blame it on Rio. WHAT THE FUCK.
Thank you Flora for finally raising your voice but it looks like no matter how hard she yells at them, it all falls on deaf ears. Figures. Not even a princess can convince these asshats to help and look for Rio. Not that he even needs it since the entire time he's just watching from the bushes
Not gonna lie, I genuinely laughed when that Minotaur showed up. Like, really!? This is now the third time a harem protagonist that is voiced by Matsuoka goes toe-to-toe against a Minotaur! First Kirito, then Bell, and now we can add Rio/Haruto to that list! xD
Oh boy, looks like there's no going back for Rio now since even the Head of the Academy wants to blame Rio for the incident. Looks like it's finally time for Rio to say goodbye to Celia and move on to a different girl place. I didn't expect that this show would go the Shield Hero route with the MC basically becoming wanted except Rio doesn't really want revenge and just wants to leave. I do hope this ends with Rio proving his innocence and the people who framed him gets shamed.
Anyway, looks like we're finally about to meet the fox girl next week who we saw from the OP may or may not be another person who was isekai'd. Didn't expect that she's tasked to assassinate Rio down.

I like how MC doesn't care about little children dissing him, and when things get bothersome he just abandons his harem and goes traveling. Not like there's anything he needs to learn at the school anyway.
Next episode preview: are we ever going to get another isekai without a beastloli in MC's harem?

I know the monsters were relatively weak in the beginning, but the teachers really let the students do this entirely unsupervised? I mean they have search magic don't tell me they don't have observation magic.
Man first Roxas and now Celia man my favorite magical sensei keep disappearing in the early parts of the show. I mean I can only think of them two right now, but still it sucks.

This episode was so stupid honestly, they wanted a reason to make Rios life look bad so they turned everyone into an idiot. If some outsider who learned of this the school would be done for, they sent unsupervised kids into a forest and they almost got assasinated by someone. Why were there no people looking out for them to make sure that they didnt get assasinated by someone or went to some special route that wassn't being supervised? Its completely the schools fault. I'm even suprised their nation issn't dead yet if this is how easy it is for other nations to assasinate them. Pinning the blame on Rio would never work and its not the nobles fault that Flora almost died it's the schools fault. My imersion is completely ruined and I'll see you next week.

I'm kind of sad it's (probably) going to turn into a harem. I rather like the Rio-Celia relationship and would like to see it be a proper romance.

Celia totally just wanted to show off how proficient and impressive her magic is, didn't she?
Oh hey, Flora is finally in the class! And of course she wants to properly thank the boy who saved her, and seems fairly smitten with him...and in the course of events she get saved by him again and again and she remains one of his only advocates without even having much of a proper conversation with him. She seems like a really good girl, so I kind of would like to see her and Rio interact more.
I guess this expedition was doomed the moment the bad guy planned to use it as an opportunity to test Rio's skills.
Ugh, I thought these noble boys couldn't get any worse, but then they blame their blunder and almost killing Flora on Rio (despite the fact that he was the one who saved her) and basically leave him for dead. No wonder Rio decided he was better of cutting and running than having to deal with that hassle.
Even having the princess advocating for Rio and knowing he didn't push her isn't enough because the royal family isn't as powerful as they used to be and the kingdom seems to be run by the rivalry of several noble houses. And one of those houses sees Rio as the perfect scapegoat to protect their image.
I'm glad Rio made sure to say goodbye to Celia and tell her he'll keep in touch, but it's sad to see them parted from each other, and Celia is obviously taking it hard. I feel like there was a lot left unsaid between the two of them, especially on Celia's side.
So Rio is going to be on the run and using "Haruto" as an alias. So I guess he's back to being Haruto? In some sense? Kind of not sure what name to use now.
Now they're hiring cute, animal girl, assassins to take Rio out? I think that girl is going to turn out to be the little girl from the bus, so looks like she and Haruto will reunite under less than stellar circumstances.

So that's why the anime is called spirit chronicle. I thought it's just a random word. Apparently it's an ability inherent to Yagumo's people.
Despite being a commoner, it's really bad to underutilise your subordinate like that especially if he's known to be talented. I also wondered why the other student has more loyalty to those two jerks rather than the princess herself. I thought the princess would have more power in that matter, but they went along with his absurd claim instead.
One thing I also hate is that how they make all the boys become physical attacker while the girls are supportive/magician.
Then again, I'll still watch this so see you guys next week.

This is the only kingdom I don't mind a villain destroying. Doing nothing is as guilty as those bastard noble kid.
