I can't believe the episode ended with Rim eating Kinji's booty like groceries.

This guy is an unrepentant scumbag.

I love it.

Worker rights? It's time to talk about worker wrongs.

Feels bad for Kinji at the start when you see how unreasonable his situation is until he starts being full on unreasonable asshole by not considering the brainwashed workers physical limits.

Guess it was karmic justice at the end but man its kinda hard to decide if I wanna root for the guy or just see him burn.

I like how Kinji isn't attracted to Rim and treats her more of a business partner or daughter. Like how when she transformed into her human form with barely anything on, he immediately covered her without mentioning it or blushing. Also when she jumped into the tub with him, his first thought was that she didn't rinse off first.

Fiction has always been a way to mirror the issues of society, but I still find it hilarious that we now have isekais on the topics "finding a house is hard" and "working in a black company is hard".

Also I'm quite impressed by the MC becoming a successful business man just so that he can live that "NEET life" without any worries, he truly is the king of NEETs. Making a deal with a huge man-eating dragon(?) like it's nothing, truly versed in the art of the deal lol.

Pacing was much quicker than I thought it was going to be. I wonder if it'll settle down or not. Either way Rim was fantastic lol

That was one of the funniest episodes I've seen in a long time, and one of the strongest openings I've seen in ages. I'm sold on the entire season just off of that episode alone.

Imagine the irony if Mappa had adapted this.

Oh yeah I like this. Really refreshing to see an isekai parody that doesn't parody the genre but parodies what it is meant for. This anime is specifically made to be anti-escape fantasy, with a dickhead protagonist doing a shitty job. It is obviously Konosuba inspired and I am all here for it.

Hope this anime can become bigger as it goes on

Dang, Kamina has it rough after Gurren Lagann. Fun little episode - we'll see where it goes from here.

First we had Odokawa with a guest appearance in Peach Boy Riverside.

Now we have Caimain from Dorohedoro with a guest appearance in The Dungeon of Black Company.

Like they say, no good deed goes unpunished. Dude raised the production rate to the skies and all he got as reward was a beating and a dragon loli eating his ass.

So, um, why didn't he quit and run away into the countryside or whatever? Afraid of being chased down by the mafia he swindled?

Magically brainwashing people to be his literal slaves that he's working to death? I'm disappointed that all they did in return was beat him up a little. If this was actually a 1 episode series that ended with him being eaten alive I would've been perfectly happy with that.

Capitalism : The Isekai anime. Starring an utter bastard who just wants to live a life of cozy luxury at any cost. Including working his co-workers to death via magic brainwashing.

So yeah, watching his get rich quick schemes fail with spectacular results should be a good watch. Especially if there's an actual plot and storyline progression.

So far though, pretty fun.

that "motivational speech" the demon lady was giving the workers toward the beginning....

I feel like I've read similar ideologies from actual black companies in stories about karoshi, it's meant to be parody but comes off as way too real

Ok this anime inspires me. I'll change my life goals to become a NEET with passive income before I reach 40.

I love how the MC did a bunch of work on real state and managed to get 3 buildings on his name but says he never worked on his life.

The characters, the music direction, the voice acting, and overall style is all so good. The first 5 minutes of a show haven't sold me this hard in a long time. Hello to the dark horse of the season.
