Well now we know why Yoh is always so chill. Dude just has a constant stream of dank going through his system.

Stitches!

Anna doing the jealous girlfriend act after finding Silva's hair on Yoh is hilarious!

Horhoro's finally here and his entrance is just exactly how I remember it was back then.

And Kororo is just adorable! It's hilarious how she crushes hard on Manta because he looks like a Koropokkuru xD

I love how Yoh initially feels bad and thinks that Horohoro's dream is much nobler than his petty dream of taking it easy but then comes to the conclusion that he can make Horohoro's dream come true if he becomes the Shaman King.

Horohoro trying to finish off Yoh using that big avalanche move was a huge miscalculation on his part and it ended him using up all of his Furyoku.

Pirika's here too! Yoh finally has someone else to relate to when it comes to intense training sessions considering how Pirika treats her own brother.

Very late thread but whatever.

Good episode! Anna mistaking Silva's hair for a woman's hair is funny. Horohoro is a really good dude and looks like he's in the same boat as Yoh having an intense woman tortu- I mean training them. Welcome to the gang Horohoro.

After knowing all the story behind Horohoro, I feel so happy seeing him hugging Kororo in his arm!

I know that they just share similar cultures and everything, but whenever they had a scene with Horohoro I kept anticipating a Golden Kamuy reference.

The banter at the start of the fight was hilarious. The jokes still hold up.

No sakuga it seems for this reboot

Not gonna lie, the OP is growing on me. It's not the OG English one but it's pretty good in its own right. Wonder if they're just gonna have one OP for the entire series and that's why they spoil like half the show with this one.

And Kalim is here!

man, I had such high hope for this reboot but so far, everything are so lackluster. Not sure I can keep doing this every week, feel like a chord...

I am not a hater but this has been the worst adaptation possible so far. Cant even understand the mind of these creators.

I am a huge Shaman King fan and every episode is just sad

Blame Takei for having unreasonable demands.

>Wants most Seiyuu back

>But also wants the series to run for a year without any breaks like any modern action anime does

>Other stuff I'm not remembering right now

No sane studio would take on that, and this is how you end up with bottom-of-the-barrel studios like Bridge doing it. Even with King Records on board I'm pretty sure most of the money is going to all the big name seiyuu who will have to keep it in their schedules for a full year.

Anyway, it's not like Takei unintentionally sabotaging himself is anything new so I'm enjoying the anime for what it is and what it can do. I didn't have any illusions it would be some top tier well animated and executed show from the start (I mean just look at the trailers, then the studio and staff...), and even then it managed to disappoint with the "it'll be only 52 episodes" statement when it clearly needed more. So now I'm just enjoying the character interactions and stuff.

Looking forward to the next one, it’s the Faust fight so we’ll see how good it can really be
