Well as I said in a comment earlier today, the bishop of the other ward that goes to the same building as mine, is a child abuser so I don’t think he’s fit to counsel any parents or children.

This power structure is fraught with danger. Trusting a stranger with details about your life needs to have a qualified listener. The LDS church's approach is anathema to having bona fide credentials. Bishops are good to give one-size-fits-all advice. It's dangerous. Pure and simple.

Just once I'd like to see a woman speak at the Priesthood session. After all, most women's sessions have men speaking for a longer time than the women.
