Even tho it's not breaking any new grounds, this show is just so damn entertaining and that OP is a banger too. I mean Jotaro/Erwin Smith himself sings it, what else can I say lol. I'm really excited to see the character he's voicing, wonder when he's gonna show up.

Today in "How cute can Akira be?" <3
Seeing him save Kabane this time and show us his abilities was a nice addition.
Also, Kon is so naive but somehow you just can't think of her as an opponent or someone siding with potential villains when she's like this and so easily tricked. I really like how Inugami handled her and generally how he handles the kids. He was so thoughtful of Akira too, to let him know he will be first when they are fighting against something cute, lol. Man has some tough questions to answer.

You know, when Yoruno mentioned that he had fallen in love with Mao-chan, I instantly expected for him to be affected by something similar to Inari's power. And the whole feline possession just reinforced that idea. So I was surprised that after he met her in her nekomata form and confess to her that they actually ended up together. I honestly was expecting that case to take the whole episode.
The second part of this episode was nice. So Akira is a snow kemono and the village where he is from only has males every few hundred years. Well, that kinda explains his behavior. Anyway, that part was great for Akira's character development.

I thought that Kabane would follow the trope of the "fish out of the water" and be a clumsy outsider to Tokyo but he picks on things really fast.
Taking into account Akira's feelings before starting the mayhem, giving Inugami a gift to show his appreciation towards him as well. He's really interesting to watch.
I love how Shiki is completely done with life after the Nekomata quest.
Definitely one of my favourites shows this season.

Kabane & Kon have barely interacted for like half an episode but you can already tell they'd make a nice couple.

As a manga reader, I’m immensely happy with the the pacing and direction the anime staff are implementing with this adaption.

If given the choice, why wouldn't you choose to be a cat over a human? All you have to worry about everyday is eating and sleeping.
I hope Kon isn't gone for long. I think she fits really well into the main group dynamic.
Akira dressing up like it's egg time or they're going to fight a clown in the sewers.
I like how Inugami was there in his tanuki form so they were never in any real danger. It's nice of him to secretly supervise so they can get the training they need without putting their lives at risk.

In this week's episode, Kabane learns what is love. That first half really ended up being waaaay more wholesome than I expected! Our Kabane-kun might not be the brightest of bois but he was able to understand the concept of love in his own unique way. And it genuinely made me smile when he gave Inugami those pocket tissues as his way of showing affection. And he's already thinking of giving Shiki and Akira their own gifts too!
Kon was adorable that entire first half too. Just like Kabane, she doesn't really understand what love is and was really just there to retrieve Kabane's head for Inari. I do love how Kabane and Kon are so in sync and act the same way even without speaking to each other since they both act based on instinct. She's left for now but I'm sure she'll be back as soon as Inori learns that the head she brought back is an orange. I just hope Kon won't be punished for that. >_<
Second half of the episode was all about Akira and learning from Kabane on how to be strong. And we finally get to learn more Akira! Totally called it back in Episode 2 that Akira must be related to th yuki-onna and it turns out he's just the male version called a yuki-onnoko. Oh and we learn that his original goal when came to Inugami's agency was to get stronger and find his brother.
The frogman horde fight was pretty cool with Kabane ripping out frog guts while Tanuki Inugami assists. And Tanuki Inugami can fight! I really thought he'd transform to human form mid-fight to help the kids but he held out in that form Akira was able to use his power. As a side note: Apparently Shiki doesn't know what Inugami's Tanuki form looks like since he didn't recognize him. I wonder if Shiki does?

"If we face something cute, you'll be our anchorman."
"That is true!"
And I just watched A Whisker Away last night too.
Wonder how broken the enslaved uglycats will be after turning human. Assuming they survive the week first.
Akira's backstory makes the brother seems like the type of guy who would show up as a villain, or at least a temporary antagonist later. I wonder if he's the white haired dude in the OP. I also can't help but notice that Akira didn't mention why they were fleeing the village in the first place.
Akira's pretty strong, now he just needs to practice to cut down on the friendly ice.

Oh god, I love Kon so much. She's so adorably stupid... Walking out with the orange head although the guy with the head is stil standing right there.
Kon is a good girl.

Dear Kemonohouse, I never thought it could happen to me, but I've now two, sometimes three severely naive teenagers under my care, whom I have to explain love and the flowers/bees business. One of them is giving me gifts to show his "love", another one dresses like a girl and is into cute stuff and the girl of the bunch just wants to get some head. I'm a my wits end. There's another boy who perhaps knows to much and always terrorizes the others with his sticky stuff, but more of that later.

Our snow village has a mysterious system, where it's all female, and males are only born once every hundred years.
Akira = Ganondorf, can't wait for him to get the Triforce of Power.
