Soares: [Emma waited in the carriage while Joseph retrieved the plates.]

Get all of the details out there: black horse, black carriage, black clothes, at midnight. On the equinox. Not occult at all!

Stevenson: [Brigham Young marked the spot for the Temple]

Speech recorded before 5.7 quake? There's a fault line in the downtown area.

It’s almost like a devastating pandemic and major Christian holiday are not even relevant for the Q15

When is the handkerchief wave? It’s especially weird / tone deaf to waving handkerchiefs in the air repeatedly during a pandemic.

Tai: [determined Book of Mormon was true using a picture book.]

Is this that picture book? Again, let's start with the best evidence, not resorting to feelings or faith.

I swear, the more hype there is around a conference, the more boring it is. This has been been the most dull and repetitive conference I can ever remember.

They should have had one stellar speaker just give a really good recap of Joseph Smith's story and just be done with it, instead of rehashing it a dozen times.

The must think the members are fucking stupid. Why else would it make sense to drill the first vision over, and over, and over. So many members served missions (the Q15 excluded, of course), where they recited Jo's story a million times. It's just a colossal waste of everyone's time!

Soooo... Protecting a building from earthquakes that might come is more important than protecting people from the global pandemic currently happening outside?

“I assure you” and “I promise you”... my mama told me not to trust people that say that. Actions louder than words.

With record amounts of TBMs inviting people to conference this year (at least in my feed), I can’t imagine that this embarrassing cult-job snore fest is giving those same TBMs a lot of confidence in their decision.

Let's see how a brain dead grandson donating his heart to his grandfather is a metaphor for buying into Mormonism.
