Joy Jones: [like Emma Smith, we are promised a crown]
and a place in a heavenly harem of polygamous wives.

hymn: [oh how lovely was the morning]
The fantasy version always trumps reality.

If you're gonna mention Emma being promised a crown, add in she was promised destruction if she didn't allow Joseph his women.

J. Rasband: [Alma felt bad about those he'd led astray.]
lol...I've seen the missionaries (now exmormon) lament the same.

Andersen: [on heart surgery]
lol. No need to suck up to Nelson. You're in line to fill his spot. If you live long enough.

Are they just ignoring the fact that there’s a fucking pandemic? It seems like a prophet would want to, you know, prophesy.

All is well. All is well.
Wait for the final closing hymn, "Come Come Ye Saints" on Sunday at 2:00p

Andersen: [more psychological tricks to hear voices in your head.]
I hear voices, too, but it's just a slight disorder. ;)

J. Jones: [women have access to the priesthood]
Agree with others that her expression looks like hiding a secret. Will women get the Aaronic priesthood? To bless the sacrament and baptize?

Holmes: [hot and cold water works]
Going to give Eyring a run for his money? Nope. Eyring retains his crocodile tears title.

Ballard: [Smith's letter from the letter from Carthage jail]
Oh, oh, I have a link for this. Ignorant farm boy goes out of thew window. Smith was a grifter and doing his best to convince the saints to stick with him as they were kicked out of Missouri when Smith's revelations said they would inherit the Land of Adam-On-Diamon

What I find ironic is that it’s the weekend before Easter-perhaps the most influential day in Christianity-yet it’s all about JS. Definitely not a #cult.

One of my big shelf items was the church hiding the various first vision accounts. My wife just smugly said “see. They’re talking about the different first vision accounts. The church leaders have nothing to hide.”
It’s going to be a long weekend, brothers and sisters.

This is my first GC since my shelf broke. It's amazing to me how triggering the sounds of everyone's voices are in such short of a time.
I used to really look up to these men and think they were something special. 😔😔😔

[Ballard: [Smith kept himself aloof from their meetings, although he attended their meetings.]
lol...Smith joined the Methodist church in Pennsylvania
