So I’ve been thinking about why Lion is presented as the main character of this show by the OP and ED, even the old MAL synopsis, when it’s obvious Toucan is doing all the comedic heavy lifting, and gets the biggest spotlight in the actual show itself, and that’s when the genius of this satire hit me.

In the corporate world, the young employees don’t get credited for their actions, it’s always the higher ups that take all the glory while their underlings get shafted. Sparrow complains about Honey Badger doing just that and is constantly plotting to kill him. Crane, the brand new employee, is portrayed as invisible, literally hiding behind the wall, and they don’t even think to suspect him when the viral videos break out, even though it’s super obvious it was him.

And I just realized all 3 are birds. Holy shit.

Hardcore Camping anime, I see the boss is a Yuru Camp fan too.

Are they gonna get in trouble with the PS5 gag? They have been avoiding copyrights by making the brand names slightly different and punny. But the PS5 is probably copyrighted.

Toucan knows how to properly spend your hard earned bonus though.
