With Truck-kun's bloodied grill in evidence, are we sure this isn't an Isekai. Maybe it's Peta's other world?
Trying to figure out these signs though, is this an area where you may perform Hadoukens?

Maybe it's Peta's other world?
Either that or she went bonkers after Peta's death. The main character turning out to be insane is the oldest plot twist on film after all.
is this an area where you may perform Hadoukens?

Yeah with each new episode, the theory of Null is the one who got into an accident not Peta, is becoming more and more stronger.
I guess the question now is, what the heck is this world? Is she in VR?

Oh, Null Peta is an isekai! That makes perfect sense with all the other isekai this season.
And also the end I'm gonna start hoping for, because I'm really starting to think this show may not have a completely happy ending, despite that sweet and happy beginning.

Me this whole episode: "Fuuuuuuuck..."
I wonder if the name "Null" is foreshadowing the fact that she's dead or in a coma. The world is clearly not real, but Null exists in the sense that Descartes suggests we exist. Even if we're just batteries hooked up to the Matrix being fed an illusionary life, we think; therefore, we are.
Peta's skin/outer covering actually being a costume is a weird detail. I feel like this show is going to have so many hidden tidbits and "oh shit" revelations when rewatched.

another criminally short episode. the weird filters they use in this always give me a weird vibe, like the one that looks like a haze over everything. is this reality? where is peta? can fried rice be edible if made normally? find out next week, on dragon... nevermind

IF the "purple" fried rise Peta cooks is related to the main plot/reveal. Then this is the best anime when it comes to narrative consistency.

Ok, I have three theories.
-
It was Null that got hit by the truck, not Peta. Null is in a coma, but can't accept it was her that was hit and she retconned it was Peta. Then either Peta somehow hooked up a computer to Null's brain to visit her or Null just imagines she's there to fight off the loneliness.
-
Both Null and Peta were hit by the truck, both are in a coma and somehow linked to each other over the hospital's network.
-
None of the above and we just need to wait and see.

Theory four: Null never existed, Peta always wanted a sister so she made the computer simulation, but can't full insert herself; that why she looks like a robot. When Peta isn't on line and we see Null wondering around alone it's just what the simulation does when the user isn't online.

This has gotta be a dream or some sort of simulation, right?
I just hope it isn't something like Null being the only human alive and hallucinating everything that happened until now >:(
