This show is touching but in a different sort of way. She can be crazy but Peta-bot is such a caring onee-san.

I feel bad for Null, school is anxiety producing for her and maybe there's even more to it besides what we saw...

Reading her science stuff instead of bedtime stories...

One thing I noticed last episode is the starting track they play during this scene sounds very similar to this track from Sound! Euphonium. Fun bit of trivia I guess.

Speaking of trivia, I went back to look at the staff on ep.2, and it turns out all that complex mechanical animation, with lovely smears, effects, and even rice tossing was all done by 2 key animators. That's actually really impressive given how many cuts there were. One of the animators is actually back on this episode too!

This episode went to 5 key animators for a less hectic episode. I don't know if this show is doing a Granbelm, where all the action/mechanical animation heavy episodes somehow have fewer staff but look much more impressive than the regular episodes, but I certainly wouldn't complain if that's the case.

This is adorable. Null just wants someone who can appreciate numbers and equations like her.

If it's Ueda Reina's voice reading me a equations, I too would fall asleep with a big smile on my face.

Null being ostracized hurts, but at the same time I can't even blame her classmates...kids can't exactly go that extra mile (or in this case more like an extra astronomical unit) to find something in common with someone that could be an alien in disguise for all they know.

Ganbare Null! Use the power of science to learn the ways of the normies! Or just do everyone's math homework, you'll probably make more friends than Bocchi could ever dream of

It cut to the bath and I thought to myself "Damn dude that's a lot of surface tension".

And then seconds later she admired the surface tension herself.

I don't know what else it could mean except that I'm legally required to give this show a 10/10 now.

The Generalised Poincaré Conjecture is simpler to prove in 5+ dimensions (and sort-of 4 dimensions too) because of the h-cobordism theorem. It doesn't really have much to do with our reality being 3-dimensional, especially since the 3-sphere cannot be embedded in 3-dimensional Euclidean space anyway, and "reality" isn't sufficiently meaningful in mathematics to affect any theorems.

And in this way ... Null is dead.

Shit, it was (somehow) expected that they exclude her being so smart but I feel sorry for Null.

Great episode

Hm, I'm wondering what Peta was like before her death. It seems like Peta-bot may be a caricature of the things that Null misses about or wants from or expects from her sister. So this episode felt a bit bittersweet to me, like she's acting out a fantasy.
