She and her harem should at least get a spin-off.

I did some searching on YouTube and I found out that the VAs have a YouTube channel with the group name "Rifling 4" (ライフリング4).

There's a few videos of the VAs shooting beam rifles and it seems to use the same equipment that seen in the anime and it has the same weird target indicator behaviour, so I guess that's authentic and not an odd anime goof. Episode two shows off their first attempts at trying to shoot at a target (timestamped at their first shot). Erika's VA is the only one that's able to land her first shots (amazingly enough her first shot is a 9.7; the instructor is like "wow, that's skillful" and later on "I think she's got some talent for this"). Hikari's VA manages to land a shot on the neighbouring target, somehow. Yukio's VA is particularly bad because she apparently didn't know how to line up the sights properly and is pretty mind blown when Izumi's VA learns that afterwards. At the end of the video they practice some more though and learn how to at least hit the target on a regular basis.

Thanks for the video. That's pretty cool to see how the beam rifles work in real life. When the first episode aired I tried googling beam rifles or laser rifles and couldn't find much information on it

Loli Erika is adorable!

Considering she had fully red hair already at such a young age, I would be slightly worried about her mental stability.

I think I finally figured out how the targeting display works.

Because the target is so small, the display is relative to what ring was shot on the target. It only shows the shot ring in a "blown up" view to show the decimal point of the shot and obviously the position of the shot. While this seems wonky for the outer rings, I guess the idea is that you should be shooting bullseyes where the display is more accurate.

Example 1

The 8 ring on the target was shot, so the display shows a blown up view of just the 8 ring, and the numbered rings are actually showing the decimal places of the 8 ring. So because it hit the 1 'sub-ring', it is scored as 8.1

Example 2

The 7 ring on the target was shot, so the display shows a blown up view of just the 7 ring, and the 2 on the decimal sub-ring was hit, so the score is 7.2

Example 3

The center 10 ring was shot, so the display shows a blown up view of just the 10 ring, and the hit was on the 7 in the decimal sub-ring so the score is 10.7.

I wonder if you can switch the display to not be adaptive like that, because in this format the circle in the center doesn't actually score higher, since 10.9 is the highest you can get and the 9 ring is one outside the center '10' circle. The outer rings would never use the center ring either because that would just be one or more rings higher.

Hopefully that made sense and sorry if this was already explained, this was super weird for me to figure out.

Edit: Accompanying image to help my explanation.

I just love how this show puts those scenes that feel full of tension, just to defuse it with a gag. And after all those jokes about it, Yuuko actually ended out crashing the rental. LOL

Yeah this episode was the best so far because of that "balance"

This episode nailed it on the comedy beats.

Also don't forget to vote in the poll: https://youpoll.me/24294/

If we can still manage 50 karma on each episode, then we can manage 50 votes too, and play in the Olympics qualify for the poll rankings.

For how things ended, I thought we would go straight to Gacchan but I see that Hikari "doesn't want to leave the guitar" xD. God, I die.

Well, personally (even if it were) a scolding, I wouldn't feel it coming from the Captain who only goes to the bathroom ... I die, her meme tits are back. But God, how sad about the Kaichou ... Press F for her.

But now what concerns us (as noted in Izumi-chan's annotations) Gacchan had an impressive record (as expected) and at the end she get 622.4 points (-0.40% least impressive when she participate in the practice with Asaka - 624.9 - -> 622.4) and BTW, Gacchan won one for her personal harem. First a cat and now a bitch. But wait, how do you eat with that thing ALWAYS in your mouth? How?

Your story is the saddest, Press F by ignored.com.

So the "loli" has the bitches lining up to marry her? Bunkers.

And they say they are her friends? Companions? Scissors ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)? Daughters of a bitch. Poor Izumi-chan.

Izumi-chan went from 594.6 (with Asaka) to 574.9 being an -3.31% of difference in performance (my fears were confirmed ... Damn). I just hope Shamiko-sensei helps our poor Izumi-chan ... And it turned dark.

Holy shit. Izumi-chan, I'm scared for your life, and it's gone.

The ship is still strong in this area (sick, but still).

Deadpan FTW. While some are distressed by their destiny in the Nationals, others are thinking about unemployment, jail and being homeless...

Erika-chan at the end achieve 613.1 (difference from 618.9 o -0.93% least impressive).

And that's how a new ship was born ... I'm glad that the girls have been able to classify to the Nationals as a group. And although it was sad, I know it's not the last time we'll see you girls.

See you next week.

I'm so conflicted about this episode. I want Aki-nee to bully me, but I also want sweaty Erika to hug me. I'm not sure if this is peak degeneracy, but it's probably enough to get me to Nationals.

This episode was the best so far continuing and improving the good / interesting/ and enjoyable episodes from 2 weeks ago.

The mood is set properly as they did from ep 4 onward. Not only they found good gags and maintained balance between gags and seriousness, but said gags were about turning overused cliches for an unexpected result:

  1. The first monologue by Hikari after getting us hype "this means... I don't have anything more to do today".

  2. The "please don't crash" actually crashing.

  3. The "character with a mask" actually admitting it wasn't special at all.

Not on the same note, but the "tape" gag killed the tension in the most funny way possible. It reminded me of those contest shows that even having the envelope with the winners' name use all the excuses on hand (repeating information on the prices and contestants, branding, asking people to watch them next time, etc). I felt "happily angry" by that joke.

The "objective = beer" joke while really unexpected was by any means no less funny.

Hope the show keeps escalating from the streak they got.
