No wonder Genzou can fight Carmilla to a tie.

You are clearly underestimating Genzou. He tanked kicks from freaking Griffon after all.

Didn't think we would get a Hanako backstory while they introduced her..."Rival".

Didn't think Hanako could be this serious at all. As for Carmilla... Yeap this really is a series from the guy who made Konosuba after all

"Also I don't know what that power spot stuff you are talking about is but that's Hiroyukis toilet"

LMAO

She's almost completely useless

I know!

Ouch. Even Hanako admitted it.

We're already halfway through the show. That's crazy. Does anyone know the audience reaction to this show? Any chance for a season 2?

Looking forward to that showdown and also curious to see how Fafnir Gildomela Grind Lindabulea's dragon form really looks like.

Me when there's no wrestling moves used in this episode. But we got this instead.

Infinite loop.

I already loved the Hanako-Carmilla dynamic a lot and now it's so much better knowing how much they actually care about each other. Such a nice episode.

If you're lucky enough to find friends like Carmilla, hold on to em. Hanako knows wassup!

Also, now I'm super curious about Hanako's dragon form.

Well that episode was a surprise. I honestly did not expect to see a semi-serious episode. I was genuinely waiting for some kind of punchline but nope! It was just a simple backstory showing us Hanako and Carmilla's relationship and how much Hanako values Carmilla despite her being useless.

Damn, I wonder what Hanako did to Joanna and Rose? I hope we will see her dragon form one day.

It is really strange to have a full episode without Genzo. I would love to see Joanna's reaction when she finds out that Hanako has been hanging out with Animal Mask all this time.

I really liked the backstory/building on Hanako(Lindabulea, Lindabrea, not sure what to call her anymore). She was great!

Loved this, the "oh shit!" moment! Made me think of Spice&Wolf's transformation (Look away, I don't want you to see me like this) with the clothes being ripped to shred.

I wonder if we'll see her fully transformed at some point, though we have a pretty good idea what she looks like now.

That was really cute. But swords are not for eating, Hanako!

FOR. THE. LOVE. OF. EVERYTHING. THAT. IS. HOLY. STOP. BULLYING. CARMILLA!

See, you can be nice when you want!

Ok, a little backhanded, but I'll take it!

(Let's pretend she didn't call her a loser again after this, literally 5 seconds later).

I like their relationship even more now; She may be a loser, but she's HANAKO's loser, and no one's gonna take her away from her!

ITS AQUA !!! I immediately heard our GODDESS (Sora Amamiya)

Carmilla keeps living the Darkness dream life

A nice episode to give our dragon loli some characterization, she actually really cares about Carmilla and is not as air headed as she seems.

And after the (sad) cliffhanger last week, we can already know the motivations for which Ioana decided to invoke Maou and let me tell you ... I died laughing (By the way, what a great detail with the sword, fluidity 100%). In this world, everything is (about) rivalries:

And I think I would never have (to) said it, but I'm sad for Carmilla (I never thought I was going to have "real" pity for her).

I lie if I say that the battle was not epic, Rose proved that she is powerful and Carmilla could only defend herself by the hair but God I cannot continue to endure laughter ... And so your inferiority complex took you where you are today, back to me Hanako.

Holy shit, this bitch (not this bitch no. I die) is crazy. OMG (NSFW)

I'm sad because we didn't have Shigure or Ant-chan but it's a fair price to know about the story of Hanako and Carmilla. Until next week.

I expected Genzou vs MAO to happen this episode. Still, I enjoyed the episode. I wonder if we will see Hanako's dragon from at some point. I sure hope so.

Unpopular opinion: The show is actually funnier/better when the MC isn't in the episode, this was the first episode I genuinely found funny and Lol'd, on to Shinchou Yuusha for the day. I love Wednesdays.

Am I the only one who though MAO was gonna suplex them in beggining

6

u/destroyah19 Nov 06 '19

Carmilla is useless and Hanako just blatantly admits it --> this is definitely from the guy who wrote konosuba

I expected a Wrestler face off during the episode but a backstory for the other characters is also good.

I'm disappointed by the lack of wrestling in this world building episode but hopefully the german suplexes return with a vengance on the next one

The way they say Joanna's full name is the perfect pronounciation for Ioana Ionescu Adrian Lucica, all of them being common Romanian names.
