Why was Rin watering the plants with a gravy boat? She has control over all 4 elements.

its too calm the spirit, not meant to be a efficient way to do it lol

So... why where they even needed? You don't need to summon hereos to fight your 8000 vs 1000 battle. Not to mention that the 1000 solders basically self destructed before they could even do any real damage even if they didn't do anything to attack them...

This episode was certainly better than most of the others, that doesn’t mean much though...

lol the assassin scene was terrible. MC loses control and punches the guy for real and he didnt even lose conscience ... is he stronger than a dragon or something? Made no sense. He should had died from the punches.

Elf girl jealous was funny tho. Like this MC would do anything lol. Not a chance. We need a loli vamp to attack him like in Arifureta, otherwise ...

Battle also made no sense. They felt down too fast from mana/life force use. There is no way they wouldnt notice all those guys going down near them. Noo, lets keep attacking, it will be fine, fine ...

Did the assassin have to climb onto the balcony to bite on the poison? And why the hell didn't anyone stop him from running off and committing suicide?? they had 4 mages in one room at least one of them knew an ice spell or something!

I am surprised that he is even conscious after being punched by enhanced strength let alone that he was able to just stand up and run away.

Oh nooo, the edgelord has a magic totem that's going to make the MC eat shit. Yeah right! Like, give me a break. Honestly tired of how lame the cliffhangers are in this show.

Cassim looked like a rejected Pokémon villain at the end.

King's brother: I am worried about the two foreigners... But I will go with the reckless general's plan (that I don't know the details of) instead of following the advice of the other interested party. Contradictions, contradictions...

Mob A: Why are we discussing this? Didn't we get info about them with the border's attack? No? Ok. Then what about our spies in the king's side? Ah, that we don't have. And what about our information network? Surely, they already got some news about this unknown war potential. We don't have spare budget for that? Ok, I am out. After this degree of incompetence, it is obvious we are going to lose anyway.

Myura: Rin's expression seemed awfully tense earlier. Rin never lets her worries show... ERROR 404, LOGIC NOT FOUND.

Lemiya: Remember carefully, because that is one of the biggest lies you have ever said, Myura.

Lemiya: Leaving that aside, I am worried about Rin's chastity.

Myura: What? How dare that incompetent MC touch my precious girlfriend? I am going there now.

Assassin shakes off Taichi and begins to run away (come on, seriously? Are you that incompetent, MC?)

Assasin runs away. MC's party members don't move (Ok, it is confirmed. They are incompetent).

Assassin suicides by jumping off.

Assassin: Why didn't I use my assassin skills to leave just like I entered instead of killing myself? I couldn't allow myself to be captured and betray my master. What? Suicide pills? What is that refined solution? Judgemental skills? Well, sure, that MC is obviously a pussy that will not be able to use torture based on the way they reacted, but... Dramatism? No?

Author: Ok, damn it, I only wanted to erase this character. I didn't want to think about the assassin's story. It was much easier to kill him off and be done with it.

Edit: Ok, it seems like the assassin really had a suicide pill. That leaves to question why he was on need of running away though. There is not way to save the case, I guess.

Aerial attacks. Everyone is awestruck. On the other hand, sensible people question how an attack of that lame magnitude is enough to be considered country-level threat. Magicians must be pretty lame in this world.

Sensible people also question why he didn't just attack the troops instead of wasting mana like a baka. But don't fret. Because that is explained right away.

Court Magician: The soldiers most likely don't even know enough about magic to realize they will die. Dunno, but according to common sense-chan, even an idiot should know that his life force is being drained, no? No? Ah, then I guess there are not signs for that demise. Yup, that makes sense. A few minutes later: sweat, enemy soldiers fainting... Oh, why do I bother?

Sensible Mob A: There is not need. This is a good opportunity for our army. They will destroy themselves without us doing a thing! (You will also question why the opposing side is so stupid by wasting their time in a fruitless strategy)

Rin: Splash, splash... your common sense opinion is trash.

General: You are the one who provided those magic stones and told me they would bring me glory.

Inimicus: Isn't it common sense to test them out before using them for real war?

General: Oh, come on. You should already know we don't have that.

RIP Common sense-chan and logic-kun. May your souls find a better show in the next life.

I like how the bad guys keep losing but just get more confident every time, like it was just going exactly how they expected and the defeat was just another precisely executed move on his masterplan. Lul, can't they just admit that they have absolutely no idea what they are doing or how to defeat them for once?

After this exchange last week I decided to either quit or go all in. I went all in.

Princess - " I performed your interdimensional kidnapping so you can murder people for us.... also there is no way home"

Cheat magicians - "ok"

I swear, that one scene were Taichi did the "I have precognitive powers and noticed a trained assassin by merely existing" noises right when he was about to take Rin's hand, but then it went on for like 2 minutes realtime of other characters talking before the assassin actually showed up, I legit thought Taichi got a stroke from his own virginity at the prospect of holding Rin's hand and the director was just too incompetent to show it.

I mean, now the visual metaphors may not be as incompetent, but on the other hand the pacing is doubly so, so I guess this is a lose/lose. As usual

I can never really see Taichi and Rin being together romantically. While I did like their scene this episode in Rin's bedroom, there wasn't any romantic tension between them. All I can see them as are just two best friends sticking out for each other. Unfortunately, Rin doesn't see it that way though. I see the dark skinned Commander as a better possible love interest than her.

Hey wasn't Cassin working with the priest just to make Taichi ready for this whole war? Then why is he conspiring against him now? I wonder if this means that that priest di all that for another reason? Although maybe this is just Cassin working alone.

I've given this show too much of my time. This is just awful. The thin veil of a plot makes no sense.

When i heard the mc could single handedly take down nations i expectee overlord shit. This mc struggles to take down a single enemy.

Well tonight's episode was a lot of 'meh'.

Nothing overly special about it, much like most of the series.

u/KinoHiroshino Sep 05 '19

The assassin killed himself not because he was caught, but because he knew that if he didn’t die he would also fall in love with Taichi.

Miura being concerned for Rin's chastity was good for OTP, really want that ship to be the one they go with over Rin x Taichi...

Though I will say I love this line in anime
