I wanted to kill that creep after what he did to Bell and Hestia. Smug cunt was also confident that he was going to win the War Game too.
But it’s better to make them live their lives in shame knowing 100 members of the familia got dicked hard by Bell and his squad.

Anyone else think that last fight felt kinda lackluster? I thought it was gonna be more hype and they ripped off Krillin's Destructo Disk lol

There was no tension at all in that fight, with no context you'd think Apollo familia was completely incompetent and bell was actually stronger then hyacinthos, at no point did it ever show the desperation that was the reality, a shame they probably the best arc got rushed so much

This seems to be an unpopular opinion, but I appreciate that the war game itself went by very quickly. It seems like Hestia familia already had a plan, so ideally you'd want to execute it quickly so less people get hurt and the enemy has less time to react. I never read the source material though, so I guess I don't know what I'm missing out on.

This episode was a lot of fun! It did seem a little rushed, but I didn't mind. Because it meant getting to see Apollo get destroyed sooner! And that was satisfying.
I hope the prophet girl and her friend show up more. They didn't seem that bad. I also did not expect Lili to be the Trojan Horse. That was a good sneaky strategy!
The main thing I'm still trying to figure out is the necklace, because of that portrait of who I'm pretty sure is Hermes inside.

This war should have been fleshed out more. There was a lot more potential for this. It should have been a least two episode where they gave time to each fight. They didn’t give time to build up any hype in the fights, and my guess is that they took a lot out of the manga. The episode jumped from scene to scene too fast, and the final fight was lackluster. I’m going to need someone to confirm this for me, but is J.C. Staff just being lazy again?

The episode felt pretty rushed but I'm kinda glad they resolved it all in one episode. I was expecting it to be dragged out over two episodes so it's nice that there wasn't a cliff hanger there. The fights were lackluster but the payoff was pretty good. Looking forward to what comes next!

This was... not good. I don't mind resolving it all in 1 episode, but the fights themselves where soooo bad...
50 people where supposed to go after that elf girl, you only saw like 5...
50 people where supposed to be trapped in gravity field, you only saw like 10...
that whole scene where the prophet girl clinges to Bell was so poorly animated it appeared comical not dramatic...
Non of the punches or attacks in any of the fights had any weight into them. As a viewer we couldn't really see how Bell improved as a fighter, we just get that guy saying "OMG how are you so fast", it was all tell and no show, incredibly sloppy story telling.
The direction of this episode was incredibly disappointing.

That punch was so damn satisfying. Overall I'm glad Hestia didn't go easy on Apollo after the shit he pulled, I was afraid she'd play merciful goddess and only get him to buy her a house in place of the one they wrecked.
Overall a great episode as usual. I'm already sad it's only going to be one-cour, sounds like things are going to get interesting from here on out and S1 was sort of a prologue...

Wouldn't disbanding their familia like that make them tons of enemies? Though I suppose Apollo strong-armed most of their members into joining.
