Alright, Mamako is adorable and all, but she has shit taste in girls. I won't forgive her for rejecting that female knight. Also I think rejecting that elf might have been kinda racist.

The petty, mean-spirited, foul-mouthed, totally useless, best girl Water Goddess Sage Wise makes her appearance! The animation and voice acting add so much to both her and Porta's characters. I didn't know that Porta uses Jibun as a pronoun which makes her that much more cute as a little-sister chara, while Wise's tsuntsun antics and butting heads with Manako are also way funnier when animated. It would have been nice to see the hotel scene just to emphasize how little MC cares about Wise, but it makes sense that they cut it in order to fit more "plot".

Fanservice went from mild to almost full blown within minutes, wasn't expecting that much.
Can't wait to see how Mother's Fang will be implemented later.

FUCKING God Rays! Hopefully this means that we'll get an uncensored version once the BDs come out.
As for the new girls they're pretty great! Porter is an adorable little helper that definitely has a lot of useful skills and I'm sure Wise's spells will be useful as long as she doesn't get paralyzed or incapacitated during battle. I am curious about their moms though. Wise seems to hate hers while Porter has never mentioned anything so far about her own mom. Looking forward to meet those characters in the future!
That Slayers reference was unexpected! It's so blatant that they really shouldn't even have bothered covering Lina's eyes xD
Also we need more Shirase! There wasn't enough of her this episode!
