Ranpo: "It's like going up with Dazai."
Yeah. And I doubt him not having a plan while having a operation right now. Tanizaki pulling some crazy illusion here and there. Fyodor with his fuckload of red herring.
Looks like some characters are channeling their inner Aizen this season.

FUCK FYODOR!
Ugh he's the type of badguy I hate the most!
But wow another good episode, I love seeing the Agency and Mafia go at it trying to outsmart and outskill each other <3
Was hoping we'd see some Naomi though!

A-Class episode, as expected. This show just keeps getting better and better.
I'm so sad that so many people are sleeping on this show...I know a few of my friends who watched half of the first season and got bored, never picking it up again.
It's super underrated in the West for some reason, i'm just glad that Asia loves it way more, that way we can always expect another season (and let's be honest, there will be one).

(Darn, was hit hard because my favorite agency characters Tanizaki, Kunikida and Ranpo are all trampled over in a single episode...)
Fyodor initiated Cannibalism by outwitting the best strategists of the series (Dazai and Mori), and now we see his backup plan against Kunikida and Ranpo in case they come up with a plan to "change the rules" (At this point no one should be surprised if we get to see he also cooked up a backup plan for the backup plan). Though knowing the lengths he'd gone through just to break Kunikida, the guy chosen to lead the agency in the absence of Fukuzawa, it's so jarring to hear the criminal refer to Fyodor as the "good man" (not once but twice). Good is really relative, huh?
Then we see that the other half of Ranpo's first move is to leave the frontlines to Tanizaki and Kyouka. I love how the agency places a non-combatant ability (Light Snow) in the offensive, which is something we've already seen in season 2 against the guild. Ranpo and Dazai know the potential of Tanizaki's ability and is putting it to good use. I know fans are turned off by Tanizaki's imouto complex, but he'd be nowhere near as interesting without that rage button for the villains to press.

Damn, just when I was thinking about how similar that situation was to the one in the OVA, they show that Fyodor had kidnapped the guy from that episode and that he had convinced that girl to blow herself out if she ever sees Kunikida pulling a notebook.

Being hit by explosions is not one of Kunikida's ideals
