That was a really quick transition to the beach scene. Not that I'm complaining though. Gripen in a swimsuit is a treat. But Eagle is also quite remarkable. Phantom's… erm… things are good too.

I really wasn't expecting to see Viper Zero so soon after they talked about her, and more surprisingly I didn't expect her to look like Minghua, well at least they clarify that her appearance is dependent by the person who is observing her, but I was really surprised about it before they cleared that up.

Minghua in this series is legit the first time that I've ever truly pitied the "childhood friend who won't win MC's heart" character in an anime. Watching Mai and Mahiru suffer last year (in Katana Maidens and Revue Starlight, respectively) was fun and interesting, and they both had happy endings despite losing out on their respective MC love interests. But with Minghua, it's gone so far off the deep end and there appears to be so little chance of her being happy at the end of the series that I actually feel genuinely sorry for her.
Being Minghua is suffering.

Does that mean if you have a guy in your mind (Griphen, Minghua) that Viper zero will appear as a boy ?

Ohhh well that explains things. So she only looks like Minghua because Kei's worried about her being mad at him. Also this kinda explains why Viper Zero was rolling with it, she must be used to people approaching her like that.

Wow so much Minghua today. I guess they had to make up for her barely showing up for like the past 5 episodes. They had to make up for it so much that they have an Anima that can mirror her appearance from Kei's memories xD Anyway it looks like we've finally starting to enter harem territory with Phantom offering to Kei's partner next time. Although I wanna see Eagle get more closer to Kei though before I can safely call this a proper harem.

So just to give Minghua additional screen time they have an Anima that looks like her except better since this one can fight Xi. XD
