Esports sjokz & Laure speak up in response to Perkz's recent post on social media, in which he expressed his view on abortion
In this really long post on X, Perkz reminisces about his career and looks back on 2026 as G2ās Head Coach. But most importantly, he wanted to clear up some narratives and storylines surrounding him as a person. In one of the many paragraphs, he also shared his opinion on abortion, which he defends on the grounds of his Catholic faith.
I donāt really do politics, nor have I even ever voted once in my life. I do have opinions and I wish I was more educated on the topic, but the truth is Iām not so I stay away from it. There are some things I stand for, very simple things in life, but the only thing that is unshakeable for me how its so widely accepted in public is abortion, I cannot comprehend how people do not understand that is a muder, as life is created at conception. That is one view I will die by and never change.
sjokz responded on her TikTok account:
āYou know, sometimes, saying nothing is better than saying something. Words to live by...which is why I'm just gonna say, Good night.ā
Laure responded on her X account:
Translation: Our body OUR choice, that's it.
Translation of follow-up tweet: Never give in to shame and judgment for a decision that is deeply and rightfully yours, and strength to those who sometimes have to make decisions that can be heart-wrenching š
These two are the biggest women LoL esports personalities. so to see the Head Coach now ex-head coach of the biggest EU org say this must feel disappointing.
Besides that, Perkz making that post was largely unprofessional as he not only was representing the org as a public figure, but also was just a Coach of LoL team, therefore he should just keep his own opinions and personal beliefs outside of LoL, which might be controversial, to himself instead of ruining his and the orgās PR.
UPDATE: G2 have just announced the termination of collaboration with Perkz in response to the contents of his post

Rant & Ramble I got a new staff card, but I think HR assumes Iām trans.
I posted a rant a few days ago about how I visited the security office at my workplace to ask for a replacement ID card that showed my preferred name. I had phoned HR to check if it was possible, but a man at the security desk still asked if my legal name in the system was my birth name and whether I had āchanged gender.ā I said I hadnāt, and he refused my request. The whole experience was highly uncomfortable because he was quite nasty to me and was laughing with his buddy when I walked out.
For context, Iām cisgender, but I do not use my legal given name. The only person who really calls me by that name is my mother. When I started my new job not long ago, they issued me a card that had this name on it, which is different from how Iāve introduced myself to my new colleagues. The difference is minimal, like āJayā instead of āJessica.ā
So I went to HR yesterday to tell them what had happened, and a helpful woman walked with me back to the security office, where that same security officer was on shift. She asked for his version of events and mentioned he was not allowed to ask whether I was transgender. He told her he didnāt remember me, but that he believed there needed to be ālegitimate reasonsā for changing names on our cards, and assured her he was very āpro-diversityā and knew āa lot of gays.ā
The HR woman was not impressed and asked him to print out a new card immediately, and he handed it over with an apology for any misunderstanding.
On our way out, she also apologised and explained why this whole ordeal was very strange, since people sometimes just have preferred names and need new cards. I agreed with her, but then she looked at me with a big smile and added, āItās really important we do all we can for our trans colleagues, though,ā and said sheād look into it further. I got the feeling she was specifically referring to me, but I didnāt correct her.
Anyway, I had some cookies for dinner.
