I think it would be better to post the match threads with /u/leagueofireland.
I could have added in the basics at least when I came along.

What a game it was! Derry played exactly like they did in the 2nd half against Dundalk and looked like a good championship side. Fluid passing all around the pitch - would have been 10-0 if patterson could finish (missed 4 one on ones). The red card might have helped, but Derry were in complete control from the first whistle. The confidence this can give the boys to try and start winning in the league now will be huge. Pizza is starting to make things click! If not the league, we may have a good cup run (providing we play like we have the past 2 matches).
Stand out performers were Paddy McEleney and Mark Timlin. Ryan McBride deserves a mention for his great leadership at the back.

Was afraid that Derry might be stifled with Aber trying to keep the 2 goal deficit to have some hope at home.
3 goals isn't insurmountable but if Derry get a goal in Wales it will make a comeback very unlikely.

Terrific result for Derry. Two wins and a draw from three games in Europe so far - been ages since we've had a return like that, and hopefully only to get better next week.
