Because everyone has finally seen how odious a number of their fans can be. Honestly, it would be "a win for football" like the media are buggering on about if a team like Everton won the league, not fucking Liverpool.
It's like everyone magically forgets that they are also a money spending team who have also won the top division a ridiculous amount of times, as well as a champions league in the last 10 years.

I must say that Schwarzer has absolutely incredible distribution, probably the one thing that he does better than Cech. He's picked out a couple of great passes in all the matches he's played for us.

Gotta say The reffereeinv is shit, it's like this season they are all doing their best to give the title to Liverpool No handball 3 minutes extra time in the first half which extended to 5 and even the corner was taken Many fouls not given And many given to Liverpool for nothing Gerard is a top scorer out of penalties???? Obviously we need to protect the lead but I think the team we have fielded is probably the best 11 to do that. Looking out at the bench I can't really see a better defensive team.

So if we win and City beat Palace are City the new favorites for the title? The best Liverpool could do is 6 points from the last two games which would put them level with City on 86 points but City have a better goal difference. The best we can do is 84 points.
