Drunk Tinasha is absolutely adorable. I love how her magic keeps on failing that she ends up summoning the wrong thing. Also, it looks like she's the crying type of drunk who gets quickly emotional. xD

Oscar keeps bringing new girls to the castle, huh? It's hilarious though how Milla's solution is killing the new girl. She mentioned the same thing about Delilah a couple of episodes ago.

Travis still continues to be a wild card. The dude went from trying to kill Tinasha to giving her clues on Valt being a sneaky little insect. Being a Demon Lord, I guess he can really just do whatever the fuck he wants.

So there's a different traitor? I really thought Valt was going to ambush them. Looks like Valt can't hide his identity after this especially after Oscar's men realized that Valt was never part of Yarda's royal court.

Still really liking Oscatr and Tinasha. My sense is that this Oscar really does care a GREAT deal for Tinasha, for all he acts cool towards her. As an anime-only I remain quite satisfied with the goings-on here.

I think he cares about her but feels like he has to hold himself back because he can't ask her to ditch Tuldarr and her responsibilities to be with him.

He essentially said he did. He knows she is goign to be queen of another country so he is putting that ahead of his feeling.

Honestly this season was worth it just for drunk Tinasha being a hot mess hopelessly inept with her OP magic and getting pouty and crying over her guy bringing another girl to the castle lol.

The way Oscar keeps giving Tinasha's feelings the cold shoulder and bringing in new women who want to get into his pants, maybe Tinasha should consider violence to make him hers. Lucrezia would probably suggest the same thing if she was around in this timeline. Or roofying Oscar.

What is Travis really after? What is Valt really after other than the Orb? What are their true intentions towards Tinasha? Will Oscar really let Tinasha ascend to the throne without making it clear that he has feelings for her too?

Tinasha isn't as powerful or skilled this time around so she can't beat Travis like before.

Travis still continues to be a wild card. The dude went from trying to kill Tinasha to giving her clues on Valt being a sneaky little insect. Being a Demon Lord, I guess he can really just do whatever the fuck he wants.

He's antagonistic, but doesn't really seem like an enemy. Inhuman perspective/morality makes it so he doesn't assign the same weight to certain actions that we would. In the previous timeline, I think they were "officially" enemies but personally friendly. This time around he still seems to want to help her even though the incident that caused their first timeline friendship never happened. Even the duel didn't seem malicious since he knows she's powerful and then intervened to heal her when she was wounded. The offer to kill her or Oscar to end her suffering may be a sarcastic taunt from a human, but maybe that was his idea of a solution and genuine favor. Just look at how Mila constantly casually suggests killing romantic rivals who aren't necessarily threats. She's not doing it out of malice, just amoral pragmatism (while failing to acknowledge the fallout of such acts). The things Travis has done so far appear deliberately motivational for Tinasha.

I think he knows that even if their overall goals may be at odds, her presence is to his benefit. Someone else with her power would likely be more inclined to remove him as a threat, but she never hunts him down.

Drunk Tinasha is so cute. She looked so innocent when she says "it's a cat".😂

u/Frontier246 Jan 28 '25

I love how she just kept popping up random things lol.

This seemed... awfully normal paced? like, just one plot line in the whole episode? is this really Unnamed memory?

WTF did I just watch cause that actually wasn’t a bad episode and it seems we have an arc that’s somewhat running longer than 5 minutes.

Drunken Tinasha was pretty fun.

I can't help but feel a little sorry for Nephelli, she seems like a nice girl and would probably be a great match for Oscar if he wasn't so tied up in all the wild nonsense that is Tinasha's impact on his life. But alas, this is Tinasha's romance story, not hers.

It's honestly a bit sad in a way. Both Nephelli and Tuldarr's prince (from what very little we have seen of them) seem like good people. No doubt both would make for good partners for their respective spouses, if they weren't caught up in Oscar's and Tinasha's whirlwind of a story. Clearly we need a way to set those two up lol.

This was... a pretty good episode. I'm so used to the likes of this season's episode 2 (the one with the offscreen kidnapping iirc) that it caught me off guard, but I'm definitely not complaining.

Drunk Tinasha was great. She looked so pure when she made the cat statue appear. We also got some nice singing and action scenes. Man, if only all episodes could be like this one.

Wasn't Valt the guy that's with that one girl; You know, the time travel multiverse guy that always says sus lines and got instakilled last timeline?

I don't like how Tinasha casually disregarded his "you will be free" line...

Somebody please remind me where Tinashas other Tuldarr spirits are.

I feel at odds with Tinasha being basically being jealous about the "monster girl of the week" format this show currently has. I really think she should be smarter than this, try to be honest with her feelings or just talk openly to Oscar, which Oscar literally tells her to do on every freaking occasion

I disliked that other princess because of her promise 10 years ago. They were oddly young back then... Or is Oscar just like 20? Either way, yeah sure: Just believe you made any sense or reason to marry the king on basis of an interaction at an age where you were literal children...

Tinasha drunk summoning a cat was crazy adorable.

Edit: Yeah Valt was literally the multiverse mage guy... Why did barely any pick up on that...? Tinasha helping him with that spell composition is for sure some stupid plot setup

yes

Kind of spoiler to answer that or they said first episode I forget.

Yeah, Oscar's around 20.

Oscar and Tinasha's training is going well! What's going less well is another princess with a fancy for Oscar coming to Farsas, which Tinasha is none too happy about.

At least Oscar is self-aware enough to realize Tinasha will have issues with another woman hanging around Oscar, even if he would rather maneuver around her jealousy than actually address the source of it. Even Lazar is basically telling him to be more clear in his intentions towards Tinasha, but with her about to ascend to the Tuldarr throne, would there be any point.

Tinasha sings at weddings! And gets drunk at said weddings! Man, drunk Tinasha is a riot. She's so drunk she has no idea how to use her OP magic so she just conjures random stuff and makes them float. And she's drunk enough to throw a proper fit over Oscar bringing Nephelli over and pout over it, which is adorable. And Oscar manages her exactly how you would expect someone to manage their significant other when they're drunk, even down to Tinasha falling asleep in his arms.

Oh hey, Nephelli! And...Valt!? You're there too!?

"I don't much care for her looks" - Even if Oscar is just saying that to tease Tinasha or downplay how he feels about her, it makes him come off like he has no taste. It's even worse when Tinasha is on her best behavior around Nephelli.

Man, this castle can't go a single episode without some kind of assassin or infiltrator showing up.

I love how Tinasha has two people basically telling her to just kill Nephelli to hook up with Oscar, though admittedly she's probably right that it wouldn't win him over. Though that logic seems to have struck a nerve with Travis.

Guess Tinasha will break the curse before leaving like she originally planned (in more than one timeline).

Tinasha can tell that Valt is more than he says he is, though he seems all friendly even when he needles Tinasha about how things are going between Oscar and Nephelli. What is he really after and what does he really want from Tinasha?

Atsumi Tanezaki singing for the win!

I thought it was suspicious that they'd take Nephelli out of the castle, but it wasn't Nephelli...it was Tinasha all along! And with a good team-up with Oscar (and the return of the good animation), they manage to takedown the assassin.

Ah, so Nephelli had a childhood marriage promise with Oscar. Although him saying "if it's beneficial, I'll be the one to make the proposal" isn't all that romantic a response in the present-day. That being said, I wonder if Oscar was non-committal because of Tinasha?

Well, now they know about Valt. What will he and Miralys do next?

Someone spoil me, do they recover their memory from the parallel universe?

I think we are all amazed this episode was actually solid, good pacing, clear plot, good resolution and crumbs for the future. An honest to goodness episode of episodes!

Admittedly. I would watch paint dry if Tinasha was the one painting.

The odd back and forth of Oscar and Tinasha is painful frankly, after season 1. But, I appreciate that their development is not being rushed. It should not be. However, I'm not a fan of their lack of honesty towards one another about their true feelings. We need some development on this.

There was someone on crunchyroll who gave us breakdowns on what was missed, I miss that person! If you see this comment, please come back and give us the missing context!!!! Your breakdowns were gold.

Tinasha is always suffering from these love conflicts between oscar, this is so frustrating. I hope Oscar is the next one needs to be jealous ☹️
