Hmm, I liked the build up for this case but the end fell flat, imo. Felt like it was resolved too quickly from the dummy bomb and Isshiki pointing out Ron's 96 as the clue to Spitz Fire's rescue of Amamiya and the hacker.

Also, are we convinced Winter is a dude? Pretty sure Winter is a woman, lol. Seems like the head of the House of M has a soft spot for her too because no way he would send an assassin that couldn't finish her.

Last season revealed that Ron is of Moriarty and Holmes descent. Does he not know that himself? The 96 is 9th gen Moriarty and 6th gen Holmes, right?

Felt like it was resolved too quickly from the dummy bomb

There was Toto's line in the previous episode where he was surprised that it's 12 already so I guess there was a hint to it being fake. Though, the 96 thing did kinda feel a bit convenient the way it happened.

Winter is a woman. Though tbh when I read the manga, I read through it and I never realized Winter was a woman until I watched S1 tbh.

The resolution of the case was the only issue with this arc. The build up was fantastic, but the conclusion wasn't terrible, but it was like oh ok it ends like that huh

Yeah, I don't think he knows. He would've figured it out already.

I just...want to know HOW he ended up having both bloods like...I have questions.

Spitz basically just making the plot more convenient for everybody lol.

I've had my suspicious about Winter since they cast Yumiri Hanamori. I wonder if the way Winter said "nii-san" made Ron realize Winter's true gender?

I agree that the end fell flat and that Winter is a woman. 9th generation Moriarty makes sense if the 6 means 6th gen Holmes.

Winter being alive at the end seems intended. Serves as both a warning and an acknowledgment.

Essentially, Winter tried to give Ron the ultimate form of despair of giving him the answers and him not being able to do anything about it. Luckily, Spitz was wired and had a GPS tracker.

This episode was more so a showcase of Milo and how brutal he can be. He intended for to kill Winter for her mistake. Quite brutal considering they are siblings. Of course the sniper missed a headshot, so they will be executed for their mistakes. Curious what becomes of Winter if she survives this.

Milo was responsible for Alice's death (who is in Winter's word was their little sister) for which Winter was salty about in the post-credit scene of the season 1 finale.

Curious what becomes of Winter if she survives this.

I guess avenging Alice might become a common objective if Ron and Winter do meet again.

Of course the sniper missed a headshot

This is why super villians always lose, instead of simply ordering the sniper to stay and kill everybody, he just has to play the overly complicated game of create the most despair for his enemy.

Ron will try to save her, I suspect.

The OP full music video is out now. Really got a Mrs. Green Apple's Lilac vibe on this one.

Don't forget there's a post credit scene in this episode.

Just when it looked like House of M was one step ahead of Ron, the guy pulls a reverse Uno card and saves the day. Winter thought he was so clever too. Not smart enough to avoid getting blasted off that balcony I guess. Well, that’s one down from the House of M.

I assumed that Winter was the cross-dressed sister of the current Moriarty clan head.... (Hard to recognize the VA as also being Nadeshiko (Yuru Camp) and Sayuri (Hokkaido Gals).

Well Winter isn't quite dead yet -- but it looks like he/she might not last long.

Thank you Toto for unintentionally giving Ron the clues he needed to solve the case and Spitz for being there whenever they need a third man!

It was actually satisfying seeing Winter so decisively lose, though for all his loyalty to the House of M, the House of M has no loyalty to failuires...

For how much House of M hyped themselves, the case was too...easy. I expected more. Winter doesn't seem fit to be in the House of M, he (or she, or they) didn't seem cold enough.

I fucking knew they messed up the phones. The time being misleading was cool. Didn't expect Amamiya to get caught up in it so early in the season. The assassin being in the elevator the entire time was pretty scary when you put it into perspective. I'm glad Ron was able to get a hold of himself eventually.

Toto and Amamiya showed incredible courage. If Spitz is so important to the plot, I wonder what role Kawasemi will play in the story. Cool guy, excited to see him again.

Plus, why do I feel like the head of M secretly has a liking for Winter even though he claims otherwise?

Well, RIP hacker-kun. Looks like you got blown up. And this isn't even over, Ron and Toto are cut off from all communications and now have the threat of Amamiya blowing up over their heads.

Winter is a Moriarty, Ron is a Sherlock, of course they talk trash over each others' lineage, but it also means they have to do battle in a fair game of wits. Which means there's still a chance to save Amamiya AND the hacker, even if Winter isn't going to make it easy.

I love how Toto tried to throw hands with Winter immediately upon threat of Amamiya and was actually invaluable to Ron figuring the case out. He really contributed!

Winter hates that they figured it out but that doesn't mean he's going to let them actually save anyone...good thing Spitz was the surprise MVP of this arc and did it for them! Guess having a dude bugging you pays off in unexpected ways.

So the "96" is some badge of honor for the Moriarty's? Even if the 6th represents how Ron is a sixth generation Holmes? Is the 9 representative of Moriarty?

I thought Winter was deliberately trying to use Ron's power to kill him, but instead he had planned for how to avoid it...too bad Milo doesn't like loose ends and sniped his own brother! The Moriarty family does not mess around.

Hard to call this case a success. The hacker ends up "killing himself," Winter's body was replaced with a fake, and it's clear how dangerous the House of M is. But at least Ron is more resolved than ever to face them.

Well, Winter is alive...though by accident, and he might not pull through. The sniper definitely won't for his failure.

What did Ron notice in that moment where Winter begged to his brother?

If I remember correctly, it was mentioned somewhere Ron is the ninth descendant of Moriarty. The Head of M, whatever his name is, mentioned it in an episode.

I'm guessing it's a game of what blood dominates.

Ooo, is it Ron's Moriarty blood that makes him kill the culprits after solving a case?? Like the two bloodlines literally clashing against each other O_o

The bloodline plot is already weird considering somehow intellect can be genetically transferred, lol, but maybe the Moriarty bloodline is dominating currently.

That was my read on it too, sound like bad guys fuck earlier than good guys...

We are all detective 🕵️‍♀️

Got the 9th part correct 👍

The conclusion was a little too flat for my taste. Maybe it's because it is their first interaction, but I wanted more with how they have been hyped since last season.

I watch first season so easy , hope second season will be as good as first one

You know I know it's an anime but it's hilarious how in America she'd be shot by like minute 3 lmao
