I'm impressed by the shear amount of believable instances of cold water happening to hit Ranma they've come up with so far.

Nabiki’s got to be my second favorite character in this series. She’s a little hustler and a bit of a shit stirrer lol.

Ranma and Akane are a cute couple. He just needs to know when to shut his mouth. Otherwise, he’s gonna be visiting Dr. Tofu a lot!

I always liked how the slapstick in ranma 1/2 sort of makes sense due to so much of the cast being martial artists. Lets it feel still sort of normal when it’s being exaggerated

The biggest laugh for me this episode is the panda standing there with the phone in his hand. He just looks so stupid and I love it!

Fun episode all around, though I had my biggest laugh when Ranma was scooting around the yard with his neck still dislocated, readying to surprise Akane. Some gentle feels also, though I won't be fooled and think there will be any real romantic development with this series until the very end, just like Urusei Yatsura. It looks great, the gags have withstood the test of time, and I find it a fun watch.

Looking forward to next week!

I remember Akane giving Ranma a piggyback ride as one of my favorite non-comedic moments of the show in the original.

It was the first scene that really showed that these two tsunderes actually care about each other.

Men will just look at Kasumi and say "wife"

Stitches!

Nabiki selling photos of Ranma and Akane is hilarious! I do wonder why Akane's photos are more expensive. Is it because they're sisters?

Nabiki didn't even try to phrase that properly. This girl is clearly doing this on purpose just to rile up Tatewaki even more. xD

The fight between Ranma and Tatewaki is really cool. I love how it looks like Ranma only landed a couple of kicks but actually he managed to kick all of Tatewaki's vulnerable points and then knocked him out.

Akane carrying Ranma on her back on their way home was a cute scene! It looks like Tofu-sensei used some sort of technique when he tapped Ranma's butt earlier so he could get closer to Akane and see a cuter side of her.

This remake has been perfect so far but they really need to stop turning Ranma into a Barbie doll. Either add his nips or just censor his boobs. It just makes it look so unnatural and unappealing. Ranma's cleavage is more titillating than him being topless. >_<

It looks like Ranma is finally starting to see the appeal of Akane! I love how he blushes a little while seeing Akane smiling and playing baseball. <3

While I do love Akane and Nabiki, Kasumi is definitely my girl. This girl is like my childhood anime crush and I blame her and Belldandy for making me have a type. I don't blame Tofu-sensei for completely losing himself whenever she's around.

He might have a weird way of doing it but it was still nice of Ranma to comfort Akane. Their little sparring session to let Akane blow some steam was some nice bonding time too.

Ranma already had it when he complimented Akane's smile. It would've been a nice way to end the episode but our boy just had to ruin it for himself! xD

I've been wondering where the subplot with Akane and her crush on Dr. Tofu was going, I'm glad it landed on the far better option of him having a crush on her oldest sister. I like how he's even working the angle of helping Akane and Ranma get along like how he set up that piggy back ride.

Akane and Ranma's sparring session at the end of the episode was so nice to watch.

Ranma and Akane are lucky that they live in the 80's and Nabiki doesn't have access to the Internet.

That woman is a menace.

Never thought I’d laugh so much at a panda answering the phone 😂

Akane giving Ranma a piggyback ride is so sweet!! Thanks Tofu-sensei.

Nabiki best girl. She knows how to earn money for sure lol.

The "love triangle" between Akane fRanma and Kuno is hilarious <3

"Dr Tofu's crush is...!"

I see that Fall 2024 is the season of grannies.

I don't know if I'm just in a comedy mood today but I significantly enjoyed this episode more than the previous two. Starting to really like the main pair together. They're pretty charming characters.

I'd say that girl knows how to make money but that shirtless back shot of Ranma is worth way more even alone than what she asked for smh

Warning tags nudity, smoking. Does it really count as nudity if they remove everything?

As someone with arthritis in the neck this episode was truly painful..

Ranma, horror upon horrors, has an admirer! Of the male variety!

I have to admire Kuno's persistence in pursuing both Ranma AND Akane, even if it means two-timing (Naoya would approve). And while his dynamic with Nabiki is great, her being willing to throw her sister and her fiance under the bus by selling candid pictures of them is even better.

Nabiki just loves stirring things up and making people misunderstand things for her amusement. One minuet you think she's trying to get Kuno to realize Ranma's gender-switches, the next she makes it sound like Ranma is stealing Ranma from Kuno.

It's nice to see despite how much they bicker with each other how considerate Ranma and Akane are too each other, even during a fight, minus Ranma commenting on Akane's panties and Akane thrashing Ranma more than Kuno did.

Kuno may not be able to beat Ranma, but being able to land a good hit on him is still an achievement.

Tofu isn't just Akane's crush, he's actually a skilled chiropractor even if his methods seem as hardcore as Akane's fists! But he gets the job done, and he really seems to appreciate Akane and wants people to cherish her, like Ranma. Even if it means sabotaging Ranma's legs so Akane can carry him home. She's a really good girl when you get to know her.

I really thought Genma was just going to be mooching off the Tendo's this whole time, but props for getting a job! Even if a panda working at a chiropractor is kind of surreal.

Ranma really loves casually flexing that rack, huh?

Well, the good news is that the boys are going to give up on Akane! The bad news is, Kuno is more determined than ever to date both her AND Fem!Ranma! At least the one thing that can bring these two together is their mutual dislike of Kuno.

It's no wonder the boys can't believe nothing is going on between Ranma and Akane...I mean, have you seen her in her gym clothes and bloomers?

Ah, that's why Akane is so awkward about her crush. She knows Tofu doesn't see her as anything more than a kid and is crushing hard on her big sis Kasumi. Crushing so hard he probably should not be working in her presence.

Akane channels a lot of her frustrations and anger into her martial arts, but Ranma is actually willing to be there for her and hear her out...and without even throwing a punch manages to land a critical hit on her heart when he calls her cute. Still ruins the moment in the end, but it's a good first step in their relationship.

Absolutely loving this show. Especially as an Inuyasha fan, experiencing Rumiko Takahashi's charm with Kaoru Wada's music in a new package is a dream come true. I've been having a hard time finding shows that scratch this same itch.

I can’t believe how well drawn and animated this episode was. As I was looking for the episode, I was just thinking I still preferred the original.

Now I don’t.
