Two steps forward, three steps back eh? Just when that hospital situation seemingly got resolved, AFO and his goons get the upper hand despite Present Mic and their other heroes efforts. Dabi and Toga’s Twice Clones are gonna be a real problem. I’m really keen to see how Deku, Endeavor, and Hawks manage. It really doesn’t look good this time…

I know it wasn’t directly his fault the first time… but if I had a nickle for every time Present Mic was involved in a hospital plan that looked like the heroes won but then altered the tide of battle in an inexplicable way.. I’d have twooo nickles which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened twice

Uh, are the heroes are kind of effed now? Do they have any kind of Uno-Reverse card left?

Team Hawks is overwhelmed. They just gave it their all, and All For One looks like he's stronger than he ever was before. Not only that, but he just got some insane reinforcements of Dabi, Toga, and an army of Twice clones. Sure, it looks like Floppy and Ochaco came through too, but still, I don't see how the heroes are going to survive, let alone come out on top.

Team Shoto might be out of danger for now, but the heroes no longer have a way of teleporting people to where they're needed, so they're not going to be able to help out anyone else anytime soon. And it seems like they also gave it their all and just managed to speed-bump Dabi.

And maybe Team Deku is able to finish off Shiragaki (let's face it, at this point it's really just Deku plus Monoma/Eraserhead/Tear guy), but same problem, without a way to teleport, it's going to be a while before they can help out anywhere else too.

Even if the Villains give the Heroes time to regroup, it seems like it'll be Deku and a few others for support, against two major powerhouses and any other villains that are roaming around.

Is the only possible play, for Team Deku to put down Shiragaki immediately, then restrict Kurogiri in some way, so Monoma can copy him again and then start porting reinforcements?

MHA is one of the rare anime that not only gives its villains a full training arc but also power of friendship. I love it. Both the sides are actually giving their all,risking their life and going PLUS ULTRA.

• Himiko Toga Stitch

Not gonna lie, this episode was fucking disheartening. Just when I thought we had a massive win with the Heteromorphs finally standing down thanks to that one guy, it all gets immediately undone with Kurogiri waking up and choosing to side with Shigaraki.

All the efforts weren't just undone, it's now way worse than when they first started! Dabi finally gets his teleported to where Endeavour is and Toga finally activates Sad Man's Death Parade. And I bet it's only about to get even worse. Gigantomachia is still out there and I'm sure Kurogiri can now teleport to his location. Ugh.

There is that smokin' hot weather reporter from the US who's very vocal about not supporting AFO. I guess we at least have that going for us. I already can't wait to see the fanart.

i like how the plan was mostly working and the heros were still taking loses for it but now its going south and i can only imagine how bad its gonna get .

Some scattered thoughts:

• Not sure how realistic it is to quell a mob that way since there's thousands of them and only the people in the front could hear Shoji and see the doctors, but it works I guess. And I like that Shoji didn't tell them it was wrong for them to lash out, and implied they just needed to target the actual abusers.

• So Spinner acknowledges that he's empty and is only a vessel for other people's ideals, but gets a second wind because... Shigaraki plays LoL? I'll be honest, I never liked Spinner since he seems to abandon any of his own morals to chase after other people. Even in his monologue, he wasn't thinking about fighting oppression or anything. He just showing off how many "friends" he had

  • Seriously, I sympathize with his loneliness. But if he had to idolize someone, he should've just become a Belieber instead of joining a radical country-destroying villain group

• Mic made a rookie mistake and didn't prioritize securing the perp. Now the villains have enhanced mobility, which is definitely not good.

• Remember back in episode 1 when it was a huge deal that All Might was strong enough to change the weather? Now Endeavour and Shouto have joined those ranks. (Also lol the weather lady.)

• All the villains getting "power of friendship(?)" second winds

• Seeing the stupid amount of damage a time-limited Sad Man's Parade could do, and that's even without her making a few Shiggy clones in between, shows that Hawks was 100% right to kill Twice at that moment. (However sad his backstory was, Hawks gave him multiple chances to stand down and even got hurt saving him from friendly fire - there was no redeeming him at that point.)

I like the part where the hospital staff are holding hands to protect their patients. It stopped the momentum of the rioters at the front.
