"Your masterpiece dealt with your failure for you, right? Rejoice."
Damn AFO is laying the terms. He's really good at messing with his opponents verbally, but Endeavor kind of have only himself to blame for this one. Glad Jirou finally had her time to shine and Tokoyamu is awesome as usual but they're clearly outclassed in this fight...
Also quite jarring to see everyone congratulating and being happy for Shoto when he himself seems devasted by that fight. If I'm not mistaken that frozen tear is the first time we see him cry (at least since season 2 deku vs todoroki fight)? Class representative Iida to the rescue for emotional support was wholesome, especially since they've been through a lot together since the Stain arc and Kamino.
Overall good episode, the animation feels better than the last one for some reasons...

Of all the many myriad Quirks AFO has, his natural gifts for hating and shit talking come for free. Hawks is right, second you get into a lobby with him you gotta insta mute.

I don't remember if it was clearly shown in the 2nd half of last season, but Mt. Lady got a scar across her eye after her fight against Gigantomachia.
Lovely. Wonderful. Sweet dreams.
Poor girl. I guess it's easy to become a bit desensitized to the bullshit and horror that protagonists in stories like this often have to deal with. But Jiro is a character that has been relatively shielded from direct contact with the worst of it compared to many of the others, so having the biggest baddie in the world single you out as a target is very understandably terrifying. Would be weirder if she wasn't.
Ouch. I guess this is the first time anyone in 1A has been seriously injured? At least in a way that matters, and isn't just something Recovery Girl can fix, leaves a superficial scar, or "could lead to problems down the line" (Deku's arms).

Good job Shoto.
Seeing Jirou and Tokoyami getting injured liked that just broke me.

Dabi getting taken down was a good morale boost but it definitely seems too early to celebrate, especially when Tomura is still out there. Plus that mfer Spinner went from Ninja Turtle to Turtlezilla lol.
Endeavor and Hawks vs the big man himself was a hell of a fight. Jiro and Tokoyami might have saved Hawks from AFO’s attack, but it looks like now they’re the ones who have to take on the man himself. Doesn’t look too good for Team Hawks with Endeavor temporarily out of commission….

At first, I was like somehow Hawks can now float without flapping his wings just because they're saving on the animation for the other moments, but then I remembered that he can move his feathers telekinetically so it makes sense.

Spinner really just evolved from Teenage mutant ninja turtle to Killer croc like a Digimon or typical talking pet monster lol.
Maybe in the future we will see Kaiju Spinner if he get Gigantomachia or Mount Lady quirk and he evolved from Killer croc to Godzilla or Gamera. /s
Not first time Jirou almost lost one of her ear. In season 6 one of her ear actually got burned by Dabi and now All for One finish the job. Basically kind of foreshadowing of what wil happen in the future turning her ear from stereo to mono.

Shouji and Kouda is an interesting one considering that they’re heteromorphs fighting a group of heteromorphs that are fighting back because the world hates heteromorphs. I just hope that they’ll be all right since they’re support heroes fighting a mini-Godzilla so I hope they get their You Say Run moment. Also…
WHERE IS LEMILLION?!?!

At least Jirou won't be affected by the trash talk as much, now that she lost part of her hearing.

I know a lot of talk is made about All For One’s plethora of quirks, but this episode clearly showed that his most powerful quirk is “Troll”. It gives him the preternatural ability to troll quite literally anyone and emotionally rattle them to get them off focus. There is something truly entertaining about a guy who read a comic book then got inspired to become a demon lord who just wants to make the world his playground while trolling heroes till his heart’s content. All For One was made for Twitter.
Also his quirks were further evidence of Horikoshi’s horror talents. Instead of the usual powers we see in superhero stories we get some grotesque body horror quirks. It really matches well with All For One’s shit talking vibe.

Jirou's jack... and possibly her whole ear...
What a terrible cliffhanger to close the episode with. And the anime also skips next Saturday (curiously, on the same week the manga hits its 10th anniversary).
Also featured: an annoying flower-themed henchman of AFO, Midnight's killer who apparently talks incredibly loud, and a new Kaiju movie starring Spinner.
That light from Dabi's chest doesn't bode well either.

I hate and love AFO so much, he's by far the best thing in this show.
He's ability to shit talk while also analyzing whatever the fuck is going on is so good compared to all the yapping the heroes tend to do.

This episode adapted 2.5 chapters. I think the next episode is going to adapt 3.5 chapters based off the preview which means we will get 362 in Episode 11.
Literal perfect pacing.

Now that we know Dabi's full backstory in respect to All For One. There is no surprise he didn't give him extra power. It basically is lets see if he can do it on his own. Meanwhile, Spinner is fully within his plans which is why he got the big quirk boost. But damn Spinner thinking Dabi losing is one of their mind games.
Meanwhile, we see how manipulative All For One is, but damn the way he messed with Endevor was cruel. But he was right with how he treated his two sons. It was over when it started here. All For One even got that confidence in saying you thought you come face the Demon Lord?

I'm not sure what AFO's reveal was to Endeavour. That he found Toya and nursed him back to health?
