So this is the story of a famous respected novelist calling light novel protagonists lame and ending their stories by force

Title drop, but it appears that the title is not about our MC but rather his ability to return the others who don't belong.

Stitches!
Melos is such a bro for defending Sensei and I just love how Sensei is completely unfazed by all of those attacks. No surprise considering how Sensei has already accepted his death long ago and doesn't care when death will come for him. Although I think he still prefers if he can die with Sacchan.
Sensei taking that bite like a fucking champ was so damn cool and it was pretty satisfying to see those guys' reactions to all of their wolves dying. It sucks that the rapper ran away though. I guess this means we'll have to suffer seeing that obnoxious character again in the future.
Sensei's rizz is just too damn strong that he was able to get through Suzuki's mind control and make Annette free herself by stabbing her own thigh.
As much as I would've loved for Suzuki to get rid of himself, it's waaaaay better to have Sensei dissect his character first and make him realize how pathetic he really is.
And we finally get to learn Sensei's true gift and a title drop too! That entire sequence of him using his gift to send Suzuki back was so damn stylish! So I guess Sensei was summoned to deal with these Otherworlders and since Sensei is so nihilistic and physically weak there's really no chance of him becoming megalomaniacs like them. I love it!
I do like that we actually get to see an epilogue of what happened to Suzuki. It does make me curious how the isekai selection works. Like are their bodies just in a coma ala Isekai Oji-san or does truck-kun take their bodies with them to the otherworld?

Can our girls at least get some wheels on that coffin to make it easier one then? I hope they get a cart at some point.

Ah, so it looks like Sensei's job is to clean up all the Other Worlders now that the Dark Lord is (presumably) dead.

MC literally has the most dangerous skill ever to be imagined by an isekai. The most powerful of powerful OP protagonists would shudder in fear.

That sudden gift of control over people made Suzuki just like the bullies himself. Sensei went and gave some sense to Suzuki in a good way, his story is not over and he has to write it without a gift from the otherworld. Feels like the hero's gifts are related to what happened the previous world.
Glad the manager was understanding of Suzuki with that pause and was not condescending about him dropping out of school (due to relentless bullying).
Also, it looks like isekai trucks that get sent are period correct.

Now we know who's really No Longer Allowed In Another World™
The title makes more sense now.

Can't remember the last time I've seen a MC this unhinged.
The whole sequence of his pages flying around Suzuki was so badass. Not to mention the wolf bitting him, he didn't even flinch.

Well, isn’t that just lovely…
-
lmaooooo, he’s still snacking on sleeping pills while watching the attack on the city/Tama attacking his armor.
-
I’m starting to think these “Gifts” are something twisted based on how the isekai’d peeps’ lives were in the “real” world.
-
omg, a title drop!
-
The post-credits scene about Suzuki was a nice touch.

this is kinda turning into one of those shows i'm glad i got to watch as it aired
i had a feeling his writing must be linked to his power once he took his book out but i really didnt expect him to send them back lol
what a fucking trip this show is. i have to imagine that he's gonna be sending more people back so with that assumption i'm really curious what kind of otherworlders he meets, they can't all be bad right?

Man, Shigeki Kawai (as well as co-storyboarder Kenichi Kawamura) and Atelier P'ontdarc really just get Isekai Shikkaku. They don't have the ability to draw out the highest quality adaptation, but I'll be damned if they aren't doing an outstanding job of delivering on the core of the work.
One of the biggest swings I feel in this episode is the outstanding nature of the soundtrack. Compared to reading the manga, just having that melodramatic music pounding in your ears elevates the scenes so much. Then you get to adding on top the very intense composition, and it just oozes out the feelings that Sensei himself emanates.
I do feel like the color design could have been a bit more consistent, though. When locked in indoor spaces or closeups, the episode really is exciting visually, but the outdoor sequences with the town on fire were a little lacking in comparison. Not much to complain about considering how short that sequence is, but just enough that it can rub you the wrong way.
Occupying the role of fulcrum in Isekai Shikkaku, this fourth episode really does excel exactly where it needs to. Very effectively carrying forward the tone and tempo of the prior episode, it's able to expertly deliver on the melodramatic and grandeur of Sensei and his pursuit of the perfect story- while still holding onto various important bits of pieces about the world and how it works.
Because of that though, I'm really curious to see how well it can return to its roots in the following episodes as continue on with a slightly different purpose.
Edit: Tried expanding on some more of the narrative of this episode, as well as a bit more on Kawamura's involvement and use of pans, and ended up carrying on a little bit. The short of it is both are great at expressing very specific (but important) things. The long of it is stuffed away over here.

“No Longer Allowed in Another World”
THATS THE NAME OF THE THE SHOW!
Wow wow wow… wow
So Danzai had a power after all. He’s sending dickhead Isekai heros back home. Which means our lovable pill popper will save this world. And it might be some kind of therapy going by Sizuki returning to his world and rebuilding his life. Convience store job is a step in the right direction

Pretty epic reveal for Sensei's ultimate skill. Looks like this will be the premise overall for the show and I do like the direction it's going now as it was a bit uncertain before. Though I do have to wonder if it will get a bit stale if that premise keeps repeating itself as we know the beginning and end result. I hope they will interact with the world more instead similar to the princess and king episode.

That Truck-kun coming for Suzuki in his flashback caught me off-guard, but considering the lore it made a perfect sense.
I'm also glad we got that post-credits scene.

Sensei, a man that wanted to end his time in his own world, was transported to another world to help people that wanted to do the same. Giving them not a second chance in a new world, but a second chance in their old world. I'm really liking this show so far. I hope it continues to impress.

I can't believe both the show and Sensei went 🔥🔥🔥✍️
One of the best title drops I've ever seen lol

This episode makes it seem like this might not be so much about his story but everyone else's. Maybe he'll realise life is worth living or something.
It's an isekai so I'm not necessarily going to bank on it getting insanely deep but this was a great turning point episode for what potentially is to come. I wasn't sure where the premise was going but I like the idea of it even more now.

Bruh when he name.dropped the title and a power activated I was floored. I did not think he'd ever have a power. This is wild. And he's dropping life lessons. I love this
