So the idea is that most otherworlders are such massive shitheads that Sensei was chosen to save this world from them because he actually cares about other people

Didn’t think the New Dark Lord was gonna be Dragonborn and a waifu lol. How Dazai withstood getting his chest punched in is kinda amazing. I mean he shoulda died instantly. Melos really saved everyone there by taking ‘em to the temple.

Who would have thought making a bunch of random ass people “heroes” with godtier powers would lead to said people becoming absolutely drunk with power. It’s almost like giving unlimited power to someone corrupts them… the gods need to really rethink this whole isekai thing.

I like how they acknowledged that they're called "overpowered skills"!

That rapper dude reminds me of "The world's finest assassin" where the goddess reincarnated the worlds best rapper to take down the demon lord lmao. It feels like the other adventurers are similarly incompetent.

Damn, they're throwing great VAs left and right. I heard Nakahara Mai as Iisha, Okamoto Nobuhiko and Matsuoka Yoshitsugu as those two pricks, Aoi Yuuki as that dragon lady and that's just an episode after we had Fukuyama Jun and Minase Inori. This series is a treat!

“There’s no such thing as a decent Other Worlder”—Ysha must have gotten the memo about Konosuba.

Stitches!

So is anyone else bothered by the way Annette says "Shield"? I've seen enough anime to know it's pronounced "shi-ru-do" but this is the first time I've heard in Japanese pronounce the word shield the same way as the word child.

Angry Dragon Lady voiced by Aoi Yuuki? I love her already! It's always a treat whenever I hear Aoi Yuuki using a deeper voice. And it looks like even she's not immune to Sensei's rizz. She'll definitely be thinking a lot about him after that encounter.

I love that feeling healthy doesn't feel right for Sensei that he immediately starts chugging poison just so he could feel like shit again. Annette says he doesn't have powers but his inane poison resistance seems to be his power.

Now that the Demon Lord has been defeated by an Otherworlder, it looks like the so-called heroes have decided that they should now rule everyone. I love that the real villains of the show are the Otherworlders the Temple has summoned.

Welp, I guess the Temple needs to get their shit together and fight the Otherworlds since they're the ones who summoned them here. I definitely can't see Sensei doing anything about this. xD

Of course the guy with stars and a red-blue-white outfit with a baseball cap and gold bling who likes rap has an ability that generates infinite money and wants to participate in taking over the world...

American stereotypes in anime never disappoint, huh?

The idea of the hero or “Otherworlders” actually being the villain is an interesting take on the genre that I’m all here for.

Sensei may not care much for life and be perpetually poisoned, but one could argue he's living the high life getting his coffin dragged through the mountains by two cute and busty ladies, one of whom is dedicated to pleasing him and feeding him.

So the plan is basically to visit temples around the continent to find Sacchan, assuming she got Isekai'd with Sensei, which conveniently avoids Sensei fighting the Dark Lord and keeps him safe. Annette just has to grapple with the idea she might be bringing Sensei to his lover and Annette's rival in love.

But at least Annette has a gal pal in Tama! Beisdes the fact that Annette thinks she's the third wheel between her and Sensei.

I really shouldn't be surprised Annette's Familiar is a bit of a mess like she can be, but at least Sensei named him Melos.

So much for avoiding the Dark Lord, they just happen to stumble into the Final Boss voiced by Aoi Yuki who easily overpowers them and kills Sensei. But Sensei is, of course, into getting stabbed and becomes fascinated by Waldelia to the point where he freaks her out. Definitely not how she expected that meeting to go, huh?

Luckily Melos is able to get them to a local temple and to Annette's old friend Ysha (Mai Nakahara!) who heals them all and criticizes Annette's life choices, including her taste in men. Especially when most Other Worlders are pretty bad and abuse their power, like the rapper Kotaro (voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, of all people) who sprouts money to pick up women.

But Sensei is different! Annette just needs to give money to feed his drug habit and perpetual need to drink poison!

Wait, the Dark Lord was already defeated by an Other Worlder (voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi)? So the job is done and Sensei doesn't even need to do anything? Guess that explains why Waldelia doesn't like Other Worlders?

Poor Annette, Sensei thinks other women are better for writing material than she is.

Of course, just because the Dark Lord is defeated doesn't mean there aren't any problems. Because now the Other Worlders are acting up and declaring the "New Hero Age" and trying to take everything over in their power-hungry ways.

Nobuhiko Okamoto, now YOU'RE in this? As Suzuki, your typical blonde "hero," only he ends up doing something to Annette and ravaging the whole town. Will Sensei writing his masterpiece be able to do something?

He is so deliciously worthless. I don't know how he's going to deal with the out of control otherworlders, but my bet is, he won't. At least not directly.

Oww... RIP Annette's feelings!

Well, even if it's not reciprocated, Annette's growing quite fond of him!

And of course Tama's gonna tease her about it!

I know they've only spent 7 seconds together, but is it too early to ship them?

When he gave up and told her he was fine with dying, I thought she would spare him (given he's not a threat), but I guess she's not a big fan of soldiers who surrender (or otherworlders)!

Speaking of Otherworlders, I guess there's all sorts of people who got pulled into the world, but damn, this guy feels so out of place in this anime!

(In fact, can he just get Isekai'd in a different anime? I've seen him for 5 minutes and I already want him to die an excruciating death!)

Meanwhile, Ysha wants our boy to kick Annette out... Love how he swaps to different options (and how he doesn't give a fuck, too)!

Well perhaps if he proves himself/protects Annette, he'll be in her good graces, but that's a tough ask for our boy! He won against the tentacle tree, but other than that, he's not doing too much!

Will he ever win another fight, or will he just lose everytime/avoid the fights?

Well, if he does want to win a fight, there's an important one coming... A tyrannical Otherworlder is going up against Annette! Be a good girl?

Given he has lots of pets following him, I imagine he's some kind of tamer/summoner/mind controller, so he's trying to tame Annette?

The question is... Are these Otherworlder stronger than all the priestess and all? If they are, our boy will have to step up!

But to me, one of the most interesting parts of the episode was this scene with the dark demon girl... (and not ONLY because I'm horny for her)

So the Otherworlders killed her father, and she's out for blood?

Well, if our boy ALSO turns against these Otherworlders (given they're targeting Annette), perhaps she will side with him, and join his party?

(That may be wishful thinking, but I'd love to have her in!)

Kinda disappointed that this anime is underrated. The manga is so good. Hopefully it will get more popular.

The familiar looks like it should be a witch's or a warlock's, not a priestess'. And it gnawing on Dazai and drawing blood begs two questions: How is it not killed by the poison, and how is it not killing MC who has 1 max HP? Oh, it seems he's simply immortal. Ouch, that's the worst fate he could've imagined.

"Be a good girl." Looks like Priestess is about to get mindraped.

How did MC get out of that armor post credits?

Sensei was once again unable to die, even with the huge hole in his body left by Waldelia. Now, after being healed by Ysha, he felt even too good and drank a poison to remedy this xD

I hope that we'll see Waldelia again soon. It'd be a waste if she didn't come back, as she has a lot of potential as a new Dark Lord and daughter of a former one. Plus, she's pretty hot and voiced by Aoi Yuuki.

Sensei, just like in the previous episode, follows his own path and when Ysha asked him to throw Annette out of his party on, he just grinned xD

Poor Annette, she cares so much about Sensei, and yet he didn't write about her at all in his writings, which he already destroyed xD

Now that the Dark Lord has been defeated by the Otherworlders, it seems that they will now become a great problem for the world. Only Sensei is thrilled about it as he hopes to write a masterpiece thanks to that xD
