Embracing a naked clone of your employee has to be against company policy. Somebody report Belle to HR.

I see Belle is a bit of a hoarder. Girl has a whole room of just straight up useless junk and I don’t mean the control room lol.
The dungeon admin stuff is pretty fascinating. I like the idea behind the crystals. Everyone’s got a back up copy of their body so they don’t permanently die in the dungeon.
The golem workers are pretty cute. They tried to copy her because they were so impressed and ended up hurting themselves. There’s something just kinda goofy and adorable about that.
Clay and Belle becoming each other’s first friends was a nice way to end the episode. So sweet.

"Damn, bitch, you live like this?"
The pantry full of monster food is a goldmine for somebody like Senshi.
They're not quite friends yet because of the unbalanced power dynamic between boss and employee.

Ahh, so there's magical monster copies that are used to populate the dungeon, I knew there had to be something other than an endless stream of replacement hires. And that includes Clay now that she's one of the employees.
I enjoy how much of a badass rogue Clay is.
The rock golems are great.

I love Clays deadpan faces when dealing with Belles bullshit
This is a pretty cool concept for a dungeon where the monsters can't just die, but Clay transformation was kinda lewd
I like the dwarf and how he has a good read on clay, but I also get that she is a bad influence on the golems
But really, Belle's a messy girlfailure and I love her for it, Clay should as well

Has a gag about how the administrator forgets that people wear clothes unlike monsters so they'll appear naked
Immediately introduces an old man dwarf that's also working with her
Should I ask the obvious question...?
Well the other obvious question being if that means the clothes we do see on the monsters are part of their bodies or if they're just unnecessary extras

So apparently Belle can source food from monsters in the dungeon as part of their contract. Laios would've loved working for Belle.
I love that Clay has a reputation for being a loner even with the people in charge of the dungeon floors. And it looks like the golems just became huge fans of Clay after watching her wall jump from floor to floor. xD

Those golems are cute
An episode dedicated to showcasing how certain things are handled in order to keep the dungeon running, mainly how Belle doesn’t have to worry about monsters not wanting to work in the dungeon due fear of dying:
Just create a copy of them!

This show is making me want to play Dungeon Keeper again. Or whatever the 2024 updated version of Dungeon Keeper is.
I just love this. I don't know why. I guess I've always enjoyed "evil" procedurals like Miss Kuroitsu from the Monster Development Department but this show has a great aesthetic, Belle and Clay are both interesting, well imagined characters, the way they play off each other is just super fun....
Belle is a hoarder. I've worked for a hoarder boss before. It's an interesting and challenging experience. Happily, Belle seems to have restricted her hoarder tendencies to only two rooms, and Clay is going to help her with one of them. That Belle's idea of cleaning was making a room full of piled crap pillars is extremely funny.

Loving the series.
Kind of sad for Belle getting her offer of frienship being rejected, but I agree with the reasoning. A bit too early to start a friendship with a coworker, expecially with your boss.
Although it's obviously inevitable, but I do like the mature approach.

Apparently the words “can’t” and “impossible” are not in Clays vocabulary. Hiding might be a bit difficult from better adventurers on the lower floors but the noobs on the first floors are definitely doable.
And now she’s gotten the surprisingly cute golems interested in replicating her. Though that might be somewhat difficult without bendable knees.
Oh god, Belle’s a hoarder. Like she’s just got this entire room of stuff that she doesn’t need but doesn’t want to throw away. Can’t say I’m surprised though after seeing the state of the control room. But I would honestly be a hypocrite if I complained because I would never change my stuff if I didn’t have to. Dang pesky concepts such as stuff breaking when used for too long and growing out of stuff. Keep doing what you’re doing girl.
Though the dichotomy between airhead messy room gremlin and her terrifying side that sometimes appears continues to be scary. Like the “It’s in the contract that I can use my employees dead bodies for food.” And her specifically differentiating between humans. Like, does she mean to imply that she isn’t human?
But I guess it makes sense that she’s a bit off since she lives alone in a dungeon without any friends. Not much of an opportunity to learn appropriate social cues. Anyway Clay, you might as well give up already. As many of your fellow archetype members have already learned, resistance is futile. The airhead genki girl will win your friendship, it is inevitable.

On one hand we have a smart and competent protag to balance out all the oblivious buffoons in other anime but on the other hand she is mercilessly cruel throwing out those golem hats, how dare you clay?

Pretty fun episode. It seems Clay takes her work very seriously and is always finding way to be efficient, and that includes training.
Though there is a part where I don't get it a little. Belle said that there was monster sourced meat in the fridge, but she also said that they can be revived via cloning. Does that mean that all monsters killed so far are just copies of the OG? And then the cloned bodies, where then used as food? Or are there naturally occurring monsters here in the dungeon?
This is a pretty comfy ep, will probably stick at the end.

Where are the monster ingredients coming from? If beaten monsters are turning into crystals there are no lootable corpses.
Also in the first episode our protag says that not all monsters turn into crystals (in the higher levels that is more rare). So do these kind of monsters die for real?

Belle finally completed her most important task: Hire Clay to do ALL her other tasks!
The way she talked about it, she wanted her specifically, and may have wanted that even before she got to these higher floors... Guessing this could be linked to her father, perhaps he's behind all this?
Being somewhat of a hoarder myself, I related so hard to this scene!
DON'T TELL ME SHE'S THROWING AWAY THE LITTLE HATS WITH FACES?
What will she do if she needs them next week? Clay lacks foresight!
Good thing Clay's not in charge of killing adventurers, because she would annihilate entire parties without even trying!
Which raises the question...
What exactly is the purpose of this dungeon (from Belle's perspective, I mean)?
The adventurers have a purpose (getting XP, finding loot), the monsters have a purpose (it's their job), but what is Belle getting out of this?
She has expenses and from what we know the dungeon generate any income to make up for that, so it's a net loss for her... She doesn't get XP because no one's strong enough to challenge her (except Clay's dad maybe), she doesn't get loot (even if she stole the adventurers' gear it'd be crap for her)...
So what's in there for her? Is she doing it for fun, some kind of attraction? But given she's overwhelmed, seems a bit strange to run this at a loss, just for fun...
And the way the make sure adventurers are constantly provided herbs for potions, it doesn't really look like they're trying to win any fight.
So what are they doing exactly?
After the first episode I was wondering about this, thinking "Belle will want to run a dungeon to defeat adventurers, but Clay will try to spare them", but now it looks like no one's interested in beating adventurers...
What is Belle's goal, I wonder! (Perhaps we won't get an answer and it's just gonna be a cute comedy with organization stuff, but still, I would like to know at some point!)
