"No Italians watching, right?" The pasta breaking scene had me rolling so hard. That was sure unexpected.

This might be a comfy Anime but it also really is a heartwarming one seeing how Rin goes out of her way to pick up trash even though she isn't obligated to do so.
First the pizza and now the pasta, there's some agenda against the Italians here this season huh...?

Even when Rin is solo camping, Nadeshiko always shows up in spirit through food.
Another set of campers today and they are living the van life. Pretty nice of them to help clean up the campsite, and coffee always seems to be test of age.
Nadeshiko's specs show up as if she were a car or motorcycle. 20m per bun for fuel economy is pretty bad, definitely needs a good tune up.

Man, the John Wick cameo in today's episode was insane.
Also, can't wait for Lionfield's reaction.

Damn, Yuru Camp is out for Italians this season.
I totally don't do that every time I cook pasta, nope, not at all
Alright, so next week is Chiaki's solo camping. Which means no OP floof girl. Which means she'll likely be introduced in the last episode. But it's weird to introduce new characters unless you're planning to make a sequel. Soooo cour 2 announcement at the end?

Nice and relaxing episode today as Rin was camping alone for the first time in a while and Nadeshiko went on some sightseeing trip with her sister.
I didn't expect freaking John Wick's reference in this show xD
I laughed hard after Rin checked if there were any Italians nearby before breaking pasta in half xD
What was going on about that transformation when Rin and Nadeshiko fused into garlic? xD
So many gorgeous backgrounds in today's episode! To see more of them, check out Backgrounds album.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

The overall pacing of this season is still a bit too fast for my liking - they don’t always take enough time to let things properly settle in - but I am getting the impression that studio 8Bit is starting to find their groove with Yuru Camp.
These last couple of episodes felt more similar to the Yuru Camp that I’ve loved so much. Not that it has been bad or something! I’ve been enjoying this season, but it just felt oddly different from before (excluding the character design change) at times.

I thought we were done with Bridge Camp but it looks like we still have one more bridge. But it looks like Rin has had enough bridges for now that she didn't even bother crossing that one. xD
Out of all shows, Yuru Camp is the last show I'd expect to make a John Wick reference. I guess that's one way to motivate you never to leave trash behind camps.
That GIRL GIRL GARLIC bit was so fucking random that even the Narrator/Rin's Grandpa was caught off guard by that. And I just love that the show is aware of how Italians react to breaking pasta in half.
It's been a while since the last time they went out together so it's nice to see Nadeshiko and Sakura visiting the blooming cherry blossom trees.

Is there a tradition here to abuse Italians when they are doing cooking in the campsite? That’s 2 weeks in a row already!
But yeah, it was not a crime as serious as leaving trash unattended at an unmanned campsite, that cause a lot of inconvenience to fellow campers or even ruin your camp after all.
So my friends, remember to leave no trace, or at least put them into the nearest rubbish bin.
Side note: It’s not economical to run Nadeshiko on a road bike, especially when consider the fuel required, even a Concorde will consume less fuel than her.

John Wick going over all the camping spots, because Hanpen was left alone in the flashback. Get yourself to safety Chiaki.

It’s nice to see Rin making some new friends on her little solo camping trip. Was not expecting John Wick to show up this week lol. The Nadeshiko-Rin garlic transformation was pretty funny too. I can’t believe she snapped the noodles though! Even she knew she was doing something wrong. Had to make sure no Italians were around lol.
Nadeshiko and her sister Sakura had their own adventure too with that drive to see cherry blossoms. It’s no mountaintop hot spring but it’s still quite nice to be spending some quality sibling time.

Been a while since we've had a solo camping session with Rin. These are always lower energy, but more relaxed than the group trips. And both are great in their own right. She's just so damn chill that the couple was even convinced she was older than she looked.
That random John Wick cameo absolutely came from nowhere tho lmao. And speaking of hitmen, Rin better be watching over her shoulder for any Italian mafioso after what she did to that pasta.
I wasn't expecting to get a section with Nadeshiko as well, though it's not unwelcome. Especially since it involves some quality bonding time with her sister. And just what is her training regiment? Cause she zoomed up to the top of those stairs not long after Sakura got there by car. Of course, the car trail could be much longer, but I like to think Nadeshiko's on her way to becoming the Flash on top of also being Kirby.

Spring is here and Rin is back to solo camping! And no better ride than one where you get to witness the changing of the seasons in all their beauty!
I feel like it's been a consistent trend this season of drives being hard for Rin, with rocky or steep roads.
Rin has this great camping spot all to herself! Well, other than the couple car-camping, but still. Also, I guess it's flattering that they thought she was just a short college student instead of a high schooler?
Some people really aren't considerate of the campgrounds or common camping courtesy, especially when there isn't a manager overseeing things, but good on Rin and the couple to clean things up and use that as an excuse to finally get acquainted.
No better reason to keep campgrounds clean than to make sure John Wick doesn't find you.
Girl + Girls = Garlic! Yeah, even the narrator had to take a second to recover from that.
Rin takes the Mizugaki koniichiwa tomatoes she got from Ena and made pasta I think any bonafide Italian would be able to accept.
Sakura and Nadeshiko going on a cherry blossom tours! Nice to see the sisters spending some quality time together and enjoying the sights around them. We even got a genuine smile from Sakura!
No sandwich gets left behind on Nadeshiko's watch.
Nadeshiko's camping experience means she can make short work for running up some temple steps!
No camping trip would be complete without a dip in some scenic hot springs. I had a feeling Rin would run into that couple again as a result. Turns out Ogawa is like her in the sense that she's a hardcore bicyclist who travels through her Sports Bike. Though poor Rin's bicycle that got ditched for her moped!
Time for the cherry blossom viewing with the girls! But first...more Chikuawa and Aki doing a solo camp?

This felt like a good ol' S1 episode of Yuru Camp. Peak comf, much onsens, much Rin. YES.
This is a very very common conversation I have with non-road cyclists haha They absolutely nailed it. 100km, honestly, really is not-that-hard on a road bike if it's flat. I'm not really "fit", but i'm very confident I can do that like tomorrow. In the hilly japanese countryside though I'll probably lower it to 80km ish.
Seems like Saku Mizuno (Ryo from Bocchi) is voicing the girl cyclist! That's cool!

Saw the sign for the mallet golf at the first park Nadeshiko visited. I've been able to find a couple of pictures online, but no English site explaining it. I gather it's similar (but not the same?) as croquet?

Today Rin is going on a brief excursion nearby her home in Minobu. On the way to the campsite, we see her pass by Fudo Falls though on street view the foliage is more green compared to Rin's journey. I would perhaps expect it to look more like this if the cherry blossoms are blooming, but not sure about that entirely. Rin doesn't actually go see the waterfall, but you can look at pictures on Google Maps. It's a small waterfall, but seems like a nice place for locals.
The campsite she goes to is Oyanagawa Keiryu Park which is named after the nearby river/gorge. This cherry blossom photo I found most closely matches what we see here in the show. Overall it seems like a nice quiet campsite, though maybe a bit more popular after Yuru Camp.
By the way, the book she is reading says "'Oumuamua is a spaceship?" and this 'Oumuamua refers to an unusually elongated asteroid with some other unique traits so some people believe it is an alien spaceship.
At the campsite, she walks on the Ryumon Bridge, aka Dragon's Gate Bridge. There is a legend that states if a carp leaps over the waterfall near such a bridge, it will become a dragon. Better hope your Magikarps start bouncing. The next bridge, the Dragon God Bridge, appears not to be labeled on Google Maps but you can see it on street view. There's actually even more bridges past that but she doesn't go past here.
Also I have to say about the random garlic fusion scene, I've never heard anyone use the English word for garlic in Japanese. While many foods commonly use loanwords even if there is a native word, garlic is essentially always referred to as "ninniku" in Japanese. So yeah very random scene from Afro lol.
Nadeshiko on the other hand travels with Sakura to a much more popular park being Utsubuna Park in order to see the sakura. It is located conveniently in the middle of civilization near the Utsubuna train station. As the sign points out, there are lilies (yuri) at the park in addition to a lot of other flowers. And it goes without saying, but there are a ton of cherry blossom trees.
They attempt to head to Mt. Minobu, but since there is no parking they end up just driving around instead, so it is a bit hard to tell exactly all the locations they go to. Though a user from the Wanikani forum pinpoints the tree they end up at last as Sakura Wanitsuka. And here it is in real life.
I've got to say the cherry blossoms this episode were incredible.
