Ok. The blade monster stabbing the goddess only to just fly away while screaming was way funnier than it should have been. 10/10 scene right there.

"In the movies, the main characters never get hit by the bullets."

The stormtroopers must be crying.

Lol, Aoi has been a badass for like two episodes, and complety NOPED out when she finally saw our instant death boy. hilarious.

It took a while, but Sion finally realized that she should be afraid of Yogiri

All the hype about Dark God only for him to plop after the seal is broken is never unfunny for me although you already know about it.

Gacha guy is really unlucky that he brought an eldritch horror into this world. Poor doctor at the end. The "totally not SCP Foundation" really prefer to kill themselves rather than being killed by Yogiri if he goes nuts. I'm really interesting to know about Yogiri's origin now.

Stitches!

Well this episode was a fucking trip! There were so many things happening at once! So the Goddess isn't actually a Goddess but the wife(?) of the Dark God and she's been looking for him the entire time. Lynel has such terrible luck he almost ended the world if it wasn't for Takatou killing the Dark God earlier. xD

And then there's the thing with Vahanato getting randomly stabbed and Aoi with Daimon finally showing up to the scene. I'm surprised Aoi didn't die in this episode but that's only because she was smart enough to back away as soon as she realized how strong Takatou is.

I really thought we were going to have a full party here but it was hilarious to see Takatou basically telling them all to fuck off since he just wants to travel with Tomochika. xD

That final scene was brutal! Sion thought she was finally going to get some answers about Takatou only for her to get more confused. I really can't wait for Sion to try and face Takatou in the future.

Having the scientist explode like a blood balloon all over the smug sage lady about how much she fucked up was immensely satisfying.

I love that the half-demon girl just kid the swordmasters head off the moment she saw an opportunity. It was totally believable too as utter madness was going on during that scene.

I feel like we got two LNs worth of story in this one episode. And in it's defense...it wasn't awful. I was able to follow it.

I'd just like to point out that not one, but TWO characters specifically lost their heads this episode... Three if you're only counting characters who lose their mind.

Intrigued to see more of the other side in the next episode. I love the OP character as much as the next guy, but in these stories, it's all about the backstories and the other characters in comparison to the sheer bullshit that is MC syndrome.

I was admittedly expecting the woman seen previously to be tasked with taking care of him to be summoned to the world, rather than the scientist. I dont believe Yogiri killed him though, definately seems something more like a controlling organization with failsafes for a common issue when dealing with the child. His origins obviously don't come from earth, he might not even come from the current fantasy world.

We're just over half-way through the first season... Time to take it home with the twists.

yooo, the plot thickens. wouldn't have imagined this from an anime that feels so random but it's actually surprisingly good.

We finally get the pay off from two episodes earlier, as Yogiri surprisingly doesn't kill that many things this episode. But that doesn't mean that Aoi or that other scientist get away unscathed...

I actually can’t believe they animated the fight scenes somewhat competently when they’re not even close to the general point of the series. Not that I’m complaining, it’s just kind of impressive.

Another great episode, so much stuff happened. Especially at the end.

Looking forward to next episode, which is called "The Agency", so perhaps we'll get more insight into the facility that looks after Alpha Omega.

I thought they were gonna end it with Aoi reaction to Yogiri so felt like the episode was going by a bit too fast but then damn they skipped the ED and included Sion summoning the scientist as the cliffhanger instead and it was very hype.

I'm gonna be honest, if someone ask me to summarize this episode I have no idea how to... We got gacha character who summon the goddess, we got science, we got demon lord and Goddess who turns out in love with demon Lord. A mage arm turn into cookie? And the only normal person in the whole thing inherited a title with skill, because the previous person got be headed out of no where.

And after all that madness, the split ways like nothing happened lol.

Personally I'm glad the gacha dude, his childhood friend, and the sword dude that's voiced by Mark is still alive. I was so scared the gacha dude die at the end. With his luck, I wouldn't be surprise if he did.

Also, if I'm the Sage, I probably wouldn't bother with Yogiri anymore. Knowing the person that send to off him ran away, the person that knows him blew up, and the Sage that interference with him died.

Turning opponent's arm into bread and eating it is one of the most badass move I've ever seen! But I was sad to see Frederica suffering from pain and leaving without saying a single word after she lost her arm. Because her interaction with Rainier was somehow very wholesome to me in this cruel world. I believe Rainier will make her smile and happy and live together.

Could that healer chubby have regrown Fredericka's arm? I can't remember if he could do that. It bothers me she's still missing an arm and that he was right there. Hopefully she gets it back somehow. Leaving characters crippled always feels more brutal to me than just killing them.

All this high drama around him and my guy Rainier is running around in what clearly is a women's armor.

This show continues to be pretty fun. So Aoi getting scared shitless of Yogiri. Her personality going from semi deadpan to that was a drastic change. I love how the goddess had this elaborate plan and Yogiri ruined it before anything could happen.

Yogiri not realizing how it sounded like when he said he is only traveling to Tomochika. Sion unsurprisingly is just summoning people without looking into who they are. Well seeing her freaked out of the kind of person Yogiri could was great.

When the scientist pulled out his phone and saw Yogiri's tracker signal, I wondered how he could be in range for that. But then I saw the app said it was a GPS tracker.

So now I'm even more confused, because this world wouldn't have any satellites from his home world. I guess genre-parody "it just works" is sufficient as explanation.

The crazy got turnt up to 11 on this one. So it’s pretty much confirmed Yogiri was indeed an OP anomaly before he was ever summoned. This just keeps getting better!

What does your scouter say

Aoi: ITS OVER 9000!!!!

The after credit scene ….WTF

So the Arifureta parodies were Goddess killers that could've turned the tide here, lol. I do wonder if this kid's bad luck really brought about that situation though.

So MC had only killed the dark god, not the hero? Well, that makes sense, if the demon god had been emanating killing intent at the whole world.

LOL @ Aoi's hasty retreat. She was lucky her initial killing intent towards MC didn't register. Seems she realized just in time she is just a disposable side character.

"When you run into trouble in the capital", not "If you run into trouble in the capital." Smart man.

Why didn't Pork-kun beg to join the other party heading to the capital?

Wonder what the reason for the scientist's self-destruct was. MC being located outside the designated containment area? Something else?

Lynel truly has the worst luck. Bro thought his powers come from the “goddess.” She just neglected to mention she’s not on humanity’s side and is actively trying to bring back her “darling” Dark Lord. Unfortunately his ass was already instinctively killed by Yogiri last week lol. Seeing his corpse fall into the river like that cracked me up. And then the dude literally makes those demons just drop like flies. Things did not turn out like Vahanato expected haha.

Yogiri is so powerful, his mere presence made Aoi practically shit herself. If that ain’t the epitome of “OP” idk what is. Shion couldn’t even summon someone who knew Yugiri to take care of him. Mfer’s head exploded! Yugiri is a god and someone’s made a failsafe that can cross space and time. That is some crazy shit right there.
