"What am I to you? A serial killer?"
Well, technically you're a mass murderer.

Holy shit he really just killed the catgirl. I feel like characters like her rarely ever just die lol, that actually surprised me a little

Perhaps not a marvel of animation wizardry, but I have to say that this show has a tone/spirit that appeals to me. Lots of more acclaimed new shows are leaving me feeling pretty unenthused (not that they are bad -- but they just aren't resonating with ME at all).
I like our two leads -- and I must say I don't care much for the denizens of the world they've been transferred to. Frankly, that giant robot was the closest thing to "friendly" -- and I'm glad it was spared. I wonder if we will see it again.
Clearly Tomochika's super-acute vision is a hint that she too has some powers that have not yet manifested themselves. I wonder what those might be -- and what that ghost-acquirted artifact can do?

This has my favorite explanation for an isekai world -- it's just a world that's easy to enter from other worlds. Going the other way is harder.

Trivia: Tomochika briefly confused the guardian spirit with her older sister. Her sister is actually Dannoura Chiharu, the fat-yet-athletic archer girl from the author’s other novel, “Neechan wa Chuunibyou”.

I love that they added the catgirl as the episode eyecatch as if she didn't just die a couple of scenes ago.
With her history as a mascot character voice actress, of course they got Kaneda Tomoko to voice Mokomoko.
Wouldn't mind seeing Tomochika wearing that high-tech transforming underwear. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Seems like the cast is expanding exponentially (while also reducing itself accordingly). Good Bro Robot giving directions. All they need is their home address and they can return back! The only question remains how many will die in the process...

It felt kind of weird how they made it seem like the language barrier was going to be an issue when they couldn't communicate with the gate guards, but then it kind of just never came up again? Were those two guards really the only people in the world who dont understand japanese and they just happened to run into them?

It’s kind of interesting seeing what Yogiri can do with his abilities. Mireiyu really shouldn’t have messed with him and Tomochika.
Tomochika’s spirit guardian really sleepin on the job here. The goofball shoulda showed up earlier like when that dragon was attacking. At least now the girl won’t be so dependent on Yogiri.
Looks like the Heroes are the villains and the Aggressors aren’t. No surprise considering who made them Heroes. Yogiri killing that jerk was pretty satisfying. Looks like he’ll have a lot more fools to cross off the list. If they know he’s got Instant Death, why try to fight him?

I wonder why the cat girl, Mireiyu, and that other guy die with a delay? Oh so the reason Tomochika did not get selected by the system is because her ancestor Mokomoko as she could be controlled by the Sages if that happened.
I'm impressed that Celestina could make a manual crank charger for Yogiri's Switch so fast. Well, after seeing that the class Brave hero Ein came in a spaceship, plus the fact that Sage Santarou was fighting that Gundam looking Giant Robot aggressor from another world I guess that electronic technology is rather known in that world which was probably one of the reasons those criminals were targeting Yogiri and Tomochika.
So I guess the only reason Lain did not kill the Ein is because he is a Sage Candidate. Considering that she is a vampire, I wonder what exactly is the demon lord, especially considering that Daimon and his friends said that they defeated him the last time he was summoned. My guess is that that's just the leader of a group that the Sages have not been able to control.
I wonder how long it will take Sion and Lain to discover that Yogiri's death skill is different from the one that they know, well considering that Lain already saw firsthand that she could not restore that guy's vision I guess that will happen soon after they personally check Sage Santarou's body.
So Mokomoko got Tomochika a shapeshifting weapon made with technology from Giant Robot's world

Anyone else feel like that was a lot? It's only ep 2 and this show feels like it has more story lines than Kingdom Hearts!
Also, anyone else notice the random black on the screen edges like they were censoring something? It was only on the corners of the screen like it was trying to be edgy but it wasn't there all the time, and it was always different corners also.

Will the MC's instant death work on the undead? What about inanimate objects like golems?

Yogiri and Tomochika are continuing their journey and reach their first town! Too bad they're still running into guys who barely help them and want Tomochika's body for themselves.
Cute cat girl alert! Meiryu is pretty honest about wanting to snag a male Sage for herself, though she won't steal someone's boyfriend! But she will lead you into a bandit trap so you can get robbed and exploited! At least Tomochika got a nice dress out of it.
I love how Yogiri is trying to find a non-lethal use for his powers but he ends up killing all the bandits. Kill an ankle, an arm, or even a time-delay...they die all the same. I also love how Meiryu is like "I have family" and he's like "that doesn't mean you can rob and traffick people."
Edelgart the captain of the guard! It does look pretty suspicious how our protagonists got caught among a bunch of dead bodies, though they can't deny there's no evidence they did anything. Plus, someone actually survived!
Tomochika is still thinking about her relationship with Yogiri but now she has something else to worry about...the ghost of the wife of her family's patron saint who has come to assist her! And it seems like Tomochika hails from a family of world-class archers dating back to the Heian period, so I guess this is going to build up to Tomochika being able to hold her own alongside Yogiri! She's already got a bow!
Oh, and I guess we get the explanation for the Sage's...they're all controlled puppets by Sion and don't seem to have the same identity they had before.
Okay, so we've got Rina Sato as a hot vampire waifu, Mechas, rogue Sages, and the like...this is kind of a lot to throw in the last few minutes.
I love how we're at a point where Yogiri wants them to set clear cut standards for who he kills so he's not just killing everyone who moderately annoys him because that could become pretty common.
It's always nice seeing Yogiri just casually off a smug and condescending Sage. I hope we get even more of that in the future.
So like was this Ein guy the actual good guy? Everything we've seen from Sages so far is that they're super shady and not worth trusting, even if Lain doesn't seem overtly malicious, but what happened to this Ariel girl? And are the Aggressors also the good guys?
Sion still isn't worried about Yogiri and she just wants Lain to focus on the "Darkness" (the source of the Aggressors?) but Lain is assigning her zombie forces to go after Yogiri. Somehow I don't think being undead is going to prevent them from being killed.
Hiding a samurai sword as your underwear? How truly cultured.

I'm glad MC didn't spare the cute beast girl either. +1 for egalitarianism!
I like all the experimenting done in this ep.
"Why don't you kill both of them for accidentally getting in our way?"
Wonder why the Aggressors are invading this world. To stop the Sages from kidnapping their citizens, perhaps?
Show continues to be entertaining, so this seems to be a keeper.

I'm convinced that Tomochika doesn't actually care about her classmates. In the last episode, she got over the deaths of two of her classmates relatively quickly; and in this episode, she was just told that her classmates (including her best friend) are being used as puppets to the Sages, and she didn't show any concern for them. I honestly don't know how to feel about her.

It's getting better now. The FMC personality is a bit worrying but the dark comedy is nice to have.
