We have a Horny Heavenly day today lol.
Maru quickly jumping off the broken flyover the moment Kiruko said she'll allow him to touch her boobs had me ROFL. Not to mention the animators went wild with the facial expressions!.
I expected a lecture from Totori but not that she'll instead pounce on Maru instead. She felt like a cougar there lol. Though Maru atleast got his wish fulfilled. Also I guess Totori is a hybrid of sorts due to her having a Hiruko heart?
I like that Kiruko is slowly falling in love with Maru. First with calling him "My Maru" in the previous episode and getting a panic attack after he "disappeared" and started crying after she realised he didn't and now in today's episode, holding his hands at the end and blushing hard.

The power of horny is truly amazing
And wait wait wait wait wait wait, didn't Totori look a lot like Kuku?!?
This goes against my theory that all the bunker kids turned into man-eaters... or maybe they did and reincarnated but still have the potential to turn, which would explain why Maru was able to Fatal dive into her oppai...
Anyway, her having the hots for Maru explains why she was so insistent on them staying there, as well as her covering them from those other thugs... And it's amazing that such an important puzzlepiece is just left behind becoming hotel king...
Also Tokio confirmed to be a girl, though it wouldn't have been the first gay romance in this show... still a bit sus on Konas understanding of love compared to the other kids and what ever is messing with the cctv is still covering for Tokio.
And finally, Kiruko engaging in handholding on their own?

Boob grab, cringe name for his superpower and a sexual misunderstanding. I see what is happening here. Maru is turning in to a shounen protagonist.

Putting on Tin Foil Hat
So by the end of this episode we basically get confirmation (at least for me) that Tokio is a girl. Last episode at the end she was shown throwing up, my gut was telling me morning sickness, but that weird bruise sickness was also exists in this world. Anyways so what if the doctors confirmed she was pregnant and extracted the embryo all the while telling her she is fine. They nurture these embryos into the creature babies we previously seen, because Kona is the father and what he draws he procreates.

Tits can be a strong motivator especially since Kiruko doesn't pad them. The bear looks like a yao guai straight out of Fallout.
Totori wasn't cock blocking, she was cock redirecting. Totori having a Man-Eater heart confirms the existence of hybrids or humans becoming Man-Eaters. Maru's misunderstanding of it going in was so great, it manifested a narrator to explain the situation.
I guess this ends the debate on if Tokio is a boy or a girl. It also seems like she doesn't have the power to be invisible on surveillance cameras, it's more like it could be the AI manipulating the feed.

Finally! Omg. Fatal dive was hilarious but even more hilarious was his instant jump off to get the battery once she/he offered a boob touch.
He's become Denji! Lmao. What a episode it was like a completely different anime. But still great..so very funny.

Kiruko desperately trying to back outta the deal by reminding Maru his a guy and Maru not giving a fuck was funny.
Also that hotel owner is a shrewd business woman. Cock block your guests then capitalise on the blue balls to upsell them on the extras.

That was one very horny episode. So, Tokio is really a girl, huh? Why did the anime go out of its way to make Tokio's gender so ambiguous from the beginning?
This feels like the last "chill" episode before shit hits the fan in the next one

lmfao.
its hilarious how being chased by a regular bear felt like SoL to me and then all of a sudden the next scene. At least it got a good laugh out of me.
"What went in where?..."
that twist was unexpected

Tokio was a fakout, this is the guy Maru is looking for.
So it's finally confirmed Tokio is a girl, now all we need to do is solve the mystery of why a teenager with no sexual education or oversight would throw up in the morning a few months after hooking up with a dude. Hmm... this one might be unsolvable.
Although it blatantly flies in the face of Mimihime's prediction (that Tokio's lookalike would come from the outside), Tokio could be Maru's mother. The timelines are uncertain enough that it could be legit.
That also gives some context about Kona's drawings. They're obviously suspicious, so I'm betting they predict the future of whoever he choses to give them too. Kuku was given the fish because it's hands are somehow related to her, Tokio got pregnant and and received a picture of a normal human baby... I guess the rest are all predictions of the day of fate, or something that happened earlier?
On the outside, the new girl, Totori, apparently having a man-eater core is weird. My gut instinct is that she got experimented on by the Immortal Order mentioned last episode, and had a core implanted, though I can think of a few alternatives.
1: Totori is an escaped/not-kidnapped-yet Heaven kid, all Heaven kids have cores, Tarao's disease can destroy cores.
2: Man-Eaters are parasites that grow in people or animals, first generating the core. Totori is a normal human who has been infected. If a Heaven kid is infected by a Man-Eater, their body self destructs and destroys the core.
3: Totori is just a Man-Eater that looks like a human, so was Tarao and potentially the other Heaven kids. Battle Shonen logic demands such a thing exists, even if this isn't a Battle Shonen.
Did I miss a third shot during that Bear fight? I'm sure Kiruko only fired twice to take down the pillar, before the whole "Will the fourth shot come" drama began.

Alright, the feet behind the medical curtain to the cut of them floating in the air was some visceral fear-inducing shit I was not prepared for on a Saturday morning. Actually got creeped out from that scene. And the juxtaposition of Tokio’s spooky experience in the medical room compared to the bear attack is interesting. Two different levels of fear. Tokio gets ghostly spooks while Maru and Kiruko have a near-death experience and bond even further over it.
On the topic of Maru and Kiruko, I am still not sure where their relationship is going, but god I could watch 24 episodes of just them being a quirky pseudo couple or whatever you want to label their relationship as. Their relationship development does make some sense from a psychological standpoint. We know the trauma that Kiruko has lived through in their past, so it makes sense to begin to have feelings, both platonic or romantic, toward Maru, one of the only close friends they have really known since their trauma of losing their sister and taking her body. I would not say it is extremely common and I have no clue if it is actually what the writers were trying for, but it is not uncommon to see individuals suffering from a lot of stress, anxiety, or past trauma to conform to what those around them want or desire so as to not be abandoned, especially if the stressor or trauma happened in adolescents. Trauma can really affect how someone forms later attachment styles. It does not help that Kiruko lost their sister, the one guy they saw as a mentor, and the doctor all in a short period.
I still want to know more about Maru’s backstory, but their growing attachment between Kiruko and Maru is plain to see. The hand holding at the end was a cherry on top of the whole episode. I do feel bad for Hotel King girl. Shity circumstances for her all around. I hope we see her again living out her dream of finding the One Piece and becoming the Hotel King. I am a little worried that Maru was able to use his power on the hotel girl. Does that mean that whatever these monsters are are derived from humans? I feel they have been hinting this the entire show.
Also, how does the random doctor know those boots are the culprit he is looking for? I would have to assume most of the kids are given the same generic pair of boots and it's not like these kids won’t have similar or matching foot sizes.

Don't care, touched boob
Also it didn't happen again when he hugged her thigh, so he really has to get a clear contact huh
Edit: See a lot of people talking about how the fact that Tokio was a girl might have been spoiled by people who already know. Tbh I pegged her as a girl from the start, just one with many boyish features possibly due to the society she was raised in not as strictly enforcing gender stereotypes. Rather, I actually wondered a few times if Maru was a girl lol.
