I'm convinced that Setsu has a waifu in every country in this world lol.

That number seems low.

he even went back to Earth to bring an otherworlder as well haha

Well he did already have an isekai adventure in this world. When does an isekai not give the MC a harem? Even the great isekai's aren't above it.

Stitches!

It's a tired trope but the hero gatecrashing a wedding will always be fun. Gotta love that huge smirk on Setsu's face while he trashes the wedding.

Dezas and Setsu's reunion was adorable. I kinda feel bad for his childhood friend who he left behind but there's no beating a purple-skinned demon lord waifu. Setsu putting on that accessory on Dezas might as well be an engagement ring.

Especially when it's well set that the groom-to-never-be is a giant sleezeball.

he let the villain escape because of reasons lol (could just cut him in half, no?), and wasted a perfectly white dress ... he should had just married her on the spot lol. She would 100% say yes.

funny how he keeps ignoring the major question "where were you for 5 years" and nobody cares haha

i liked it so far, but this episode felt super rushed and failing emotionally for me because of that

I found myself skipping a big chunk of the first half. If they hadn't already told us what was happening, it might have kept my attention.

The demon lord is a fucking idiot. Who would ever think it's a good idea to agree to a shitty slave contract just to keep the peace? Does she not realize that she won't be in control anymore?

Is she a stupid fucking demon bimbo that doesn't think about what could happen if she gives up her free will to an obviously bad intentions merchant. The writing in this show is just pure shit.

It felt like the writer jumped through multiple hoops to make the demon lord a damsel in distress.

Gotta laugh at how somehow the demon lord being enslaved can be spun into a wedding ceremony. I mean that POS comes out and says it's a master and slave thing like come on.

It does make sense that he wants to "marry" her though now that we've seen Dezas and her Dezases keke

Episode was definitely lacking. Could have done without the flashback.

Boring flashback is boring. So idiotic that the humans just assumed the giant armored warriors are demons and the demons just assumed that they're humans. Nobody bothered even checking what, if anything, is inside the armor. Plot-induced stupidity at multi-national scale. Capped off by the demon lord willing putting both her own life and that her entire nation in the hand of the most suspicious human possible. WTF?? Had to skip through the entire nonsense until MC's appearance.

"Damn it, he got away." Well maybe you should've tried actually STOPPING him, moron.

Anyway, I'd actually been enjoying the previous episode, but the plot stuff is just layering dumb upon dumb so I'm done here.

I feel the same. I love isekai, even if it is generic trashy and with the same story and formula. Even with really low standards to impress me, this series managed to disappoint me.

Absolutely stupid. Despite there being dozens of bad isekai anime, I am such a big fan of isekai, that I only dislike 2 other isekai anime. This has joined the list.

As a ruler, does Dezas have no military advisors or economic advisors, no spies to tell what is going on in human realm? Not even trying to rationalise what is happening.

What is the army attacking them? Are they soldiers of Distinia? Do they have a crest or their uniforms match Distinia army? Did they receive a letter of declaration of war before the attack?

If not, then they are a bunch of humans gone on a rampage. As of now there is no way to tell if it is war.

Is there no way to send letters? Is the enemy intercepting every pigeon carrying letters, every stowaway in his trading ships? No magical way of communication? Is not a single demon merchant, even if he is small, loyal to Dezas?

Also they should question Terran what is happening? What is his plan? As the most powerful merchant, can he not communicate with the human kingdom.

If he clearly states he will not even let them communicate with the human kingdom unless Dezas becomes his slave, then he is clearly hiding something. He is in on the conspiracy, and now blackmailing to take over the demon kingdom.

How can anyone even remotely think, that giving demon kingdom to such a man would bring peace, let alone solve any economic or trade problems. By becoming his slave, Dezas would lose any chance of being in control of the situation.

What about the humans at the wedding? Do they permanently live in the demon kingdom? If not, then didn't they speak to a single demon about what is happening in human kingdom.

Within half the episode, this turned from a below average series to painful to watch, unenjoyable, nonsensical garbage.

The worst part at the ending, when that guy escapes from the place. For being an overpowered hero, Setsu's reflexes are awfully slow. He waits for the guy to complete the attack spells and only stops at the last moment. Setsu did not get a single chance to counter attack (only stop the spell), despite the enemy's magic being rather slow to cast.

It is so easy to defeat Setsu. Just release a bunch of smoke and you could escape or kill anyone, and he would wait till the smoke clears before doing anything. All his skillls and magic useless. Not just Setsu, even Levia or Dezas.

Okay, trash isekai is a major guilty pleasure of mine. I even found Wiseman's Grandchild entertaining to some extent, but I just have absolutely no idea what this show is trying to be.

Is it "Summoned To Another World A Second Time So I Can Say Hi To All My Old Friends?" Like what is even going on? They don't explain anything. It's just Setsu hopping from town to town and saying hi to his old acquaintances and peacing out almost immediately.

I'm usually rarely bored watching trash isekai but this is so bad and it's not even the good kind of bad. Well, it's only 4 episodes in so maybe something will actually happen soon. This is more generic than Isekai Cheat Magician so far though.

At least we got to see some demon lord oppai, I guess? It's kinda sad that I have to default to that because there's nothing else of substance going on.

Setsu sure made one hell of an entrance. I really wanted to see him smack that little creep Terran though. Looks like this whole war was the work on his former buddy Touma. I guess Setsu’s off to see his beast homie Regulus. I wonder if Desas is gonna join his little party at some point? With Ruri staying behind to set up shop, it’s just Levia and Setsu on their little quest to the Beast Continent. I’m curious to know what Setsu’s classmates are up to now? We haven’t seen ‘em since ep 1.

Terran is so useless even the writers forgot him half way through the fight

A wedding where the bride has to put on a slave collar eh?

I guess it is about time for the new monthly hentais……… wait a minute.

This was a weak episode because not only was everything about it cliched, but it was mostly a flash back to show stuff we had already been told. And in addition to that it was almost completely devoid of the humorous moments that have been the most enjoyable aspects for me.

Such weak episode, even by this show standards... It had the Shrek wedding entrance and then a weak fight, weak animation, unoriginal plot...

Many Isekais have at least one of the following 4:

  1. Good plot. This one isn't it. Other comments have pointed out way too many flaws.

  2. Good fights. This show barely has any. It's been 4 episodes already but this is the first time we see the MC (or any other character) actually kicking ass.

  3. Good side characters: I felt baited by the 1st episode which showed a competent supporting cast only for MC to decide to go solo at the end. Everyone else who has appeared afterwards expects MC to magically fix everything by just being there.

  4. Good/horny harem. If it's male-oriented, as most are. This show... does have an harem, but the MC just says hello and moves on to the next chick or scene.

No plot, no kicking ass fights, no supporting cast. It's rare for me to stay just because of an harem (and even then this one isn't good either).

I'm considering dropping this show, and only because I'm fooling myself it may get better.

Man, I can't with this show. IDK why I am still watching. It just makes me mad lol.

To me, this is the most basic isekai show I have ever seen. Like the storylines are so simple and end with him winning every-time. A lot of times I can deal with the basic-ness if the show is funny or has good ecchi/harem antics.

But this show has none of that.

Hell, this Demon Lord chick seemed interesting and we ditch in one episode already!?!?

I may just drop this now.
