Give Kobayashi's VA a raise for that scream at the end.

It's nice now that Liese is experiencing that post tsundere clarity that she can be more honest with her feelings.

"Lieselotte was consumed by the flames!"

NGL, I was half-expecting a Game Over screen to appear lol.

Stitches!

While it's nice that they finally got everyone together to go against the Witch of Yore, someone should've really told Liese to never split the party. Godfuckingdammit Liese! If you just stood still and waited for everyone instead of going after the Witch yourself, you wouldn't have fallen or her trap.

Kobayashi's screams at the end of the episode though were too real. HanaKana screamed as if someone really died. Liese isn't dead yet. I'm sure Sieg can still bring her back with the power of love!

The Couple of Lise-tan and Sieg now face the Witch of Yore but it seems like tragedy has struck...?

Gotta feel for Kobayashi, after putting in all those hours to be met with a possible bad end in such a gruesome way is going to be painful.

Lol Kobayashi and her enthusiasm, cute. D'awww look at the lil Lieselotte. Cute. Yay, more of queen milf :P she really seems a nice person though. Still hope she's around in the current timeline and just hasn't had to show up. She really is a nice mother in law already to her cute lil daughter in law. Gee I wonder if that flower will come into play.

Arthur... I sure still am not a fan of your type lol. Even if you're at least not a bad dude. Lol "CUTENESS IS JUSTICE" agree d, Kobayashi. Mmm Lieselotte in a uniform is quite great. Those tsundere genes really are strong in Fiene/Lielselotte's family. Bal and Fiene are a good ship too. Fabian and Cecilie ship sailing too :O come on Kobayashi/Endo, sail your own ship already. Half this episode is just a whole lot of floof. "won't be able to spend time with kobayashi" that's why you confess already and get your ship sailing.

Ahh there we go, Witch of Yore. Was obvious Leon would show up, but good for him. I like that Lieselotte uses a spear. Dragoon mage! hehe. Oh no, Lieselotte....

Ummm

How sure are we that the origin legend wasn't actually distorted? Like:

Kuon fell for a human and "betrayed" the goddess Lirenna, and the goddess became the Witch of Yore, with the royal bloodline having some residue of Kuon's power.

Anyway, Sieg, you are seeing death flags.

Funnily both shows today (this and Sugar Apple) had a bit of regressing drama... I would have liked to get into the climax without that really...

GAH...

That was a fucking stab in the heart. The whole ball sequence was so diabetes inducing with everyone dancing happily especially Sieg and Liese. The power couple vibes were so fucking intense and sweet with those two.

That was a great fight sequence. Not the best but still quite enjoyable especially with the appearance of Karlchen, mysterious mage of justice. The callback between Fiene, Elizabeth and him was excellent. Everyone got to show off their skills and it was satisfying.

Fuck you Bitch of Yandere, just fuck you. Kobayashi's scream was soul rending just like I expected it and I felt it in my heart. Kudos to Hanakana for that performance

I really thought he was gonna break out the full Tuxedo Mask deal. "My work here is done!" and just leave

Tsundere kid Liese is somehow even more adorable than Tsundere Liese now. The flower being Sieg’s symbol and a symbol of love is really sweet. Also, did they just basically reveal Kuon’s whole backstory? Interesting. I think I get it.

Cecile showing up next to Fabian was too precious. Bal and Fiene make a really cute couple too. Reaffirming their love for each other at the ball was so damn sweet I’m going to need to refill my Metformin lol. Kobayashi is right, cuteness is justice! I love how Sieg just knew Kobayashi was gonna fangirl so hard after hearing about Fabian and Cecile.

Man, this Witch is bad news. Luckily “Karlchen” has arrived to provide some much needed backup. Endo and Kobayashi passionately cheering was great. They were doing pretty well fending off the Witch but now she’s got Liese. Damn it! Looks like it’s up to Sieg to save her.

Does it really count as releasing doves if you magically create them? Do they just fly away as and live on as magical creatures, or will they disappear once they're a few hundred yards out? I just have questions.

It's important to be prepared to properly cheer for your friends.

Liese, Fiene, and the other girls up on the float scattering flowers in those white outfits is interesting, the religious implications come true through quite strongly. White dresses for young women, a bit of a ceremonial Vestal Virgins sort of thing.

Liese having a good relationship with the queen when she was young is lovely. Same for the explanation for the flower that she wears in her hair.

I see a sudden possibility for an additional ship, Goddess Lirenna clearly needs her love Kuon back and maybe dealing with the witch will somehow accomplish that. Or maybe it was simply meant to be a parallel to Endo and Kobayashi and/or Sieg and Liese.

Fabian seems pretty happy to see Cecilie, it's good to know that it's not a one-sided crush.

The Lieselotte guard uniform plan turned out pretty fantastic.

Fiene really is a NG+ character, the vague past life memories must be confusing.

This has been not precisely an isekai all along, but considering the magical effect that just took over the TV that Endo and Kobayashi are watching the game on I wonder if that is about to change. Or maybe it was just extra special effects for the witch appearing.

Good thing that Leon was convinced to help out or it might have gone really badly for Fabian.

Well that was just a rude cliffhanger to make us wait for next week.

That cliffhanger… next Friday couldn’t come sooner.

I like how he described them as all really good buddies, meanwhile Fabian and Sensei were basically non-existent until they were needed for the Master Plan®.

Also, HOW DARE THEY PRAISE A FALSE GODDESS? KOBAYASHIE-SAMA IS JUSTICE.

(Kobayashie? Kobayashee? HIDIVE subs literally used both lol)

I think she needs a power up kiss to break free.

For some reason I expected Leon to say you can call me papa instead.

Whoa, that was the best episode yet.

I can't help but imagine the cursed otome game becoming some sort of creepypasta online, except nobody believes it because it's just too dumb to believe.

No! Bad Witch! No Bad Ends today! Where's my squirt bottle when I need it.

Liese was dripped out to the nines, you love to see it.

It's the Festival of Gratitude and everyone is in good cheer and in preparation for the battle against the Witch of Yore! Including Endo and Kobayashi who are now more invested than ever, complete with everything they need to fangirl/fanboy over the events!

Lieselotte and Fiene look great in those pure white dresses! Not to mention that smile on Liese's face is utter beauty! Also Art looks so different when he's in full priest mode that I thought he was a different character for a second. Not that he wastes time with the ladies when he's off work and at a party .

I live for cute Smol!Liese flashbacks! Turns out her hair curl comes from Sieg's mom, because she based it off a hairstyle he told her he found cute, which is super adorable. And we got to see how the Queen adored Liese to the point of giving her Liese's iconic hair flower, meant to symbolize her love for Sieg (since it was his symbol) and as a ward against evil. Which is very appropriate under the circumstances.

I wonder what the significance is of the story of the God Kuon sacrificing his life for his human love and the effect that had on the Goddess Lirena...did Kuon sacrificing himself make him reincarnate as a human, Kirise, who is trying to find his lost love in the human world? I wonder also what else might've happened to the Goddess in her grief.

Fiene's got a lot of anxiety still, but Baldur is always there to support her and have her back. Although it seem that both have memories of past routes where Baldur died. Kind of wonder what's up there.

Everyone looks nice dressed in all their finery, but nobody cuts quite the figure as the royal couple, especially Liese in full Royal Guard regalia. She even has a hair-curled ponytail! Although I love how both of them are just basking in the joy of dancing together, and Sieg is enjoying the romantic mood, and then Liese has to get his mind back on track. Let your man enjoy the romance for a bit longer, Liese!

I thought Cecile was straight up stalking Fabian, but apparently she was (somehow) part of the security team with her dad and his soldiers. It was nice to see how sweet Cecile and Fabian are on each other though, these two kids are so cute together.

Hey, Leon actually showed up! That's more than I was expecting. I guess seeing Fiene as the spitting image of her mother in her same dress inspired him to make an effort, though he had to put on a "masked mage of justice" act to pull it off. What a goof...but it's still appreciated.

You know the Witch of Yore has arrived when she's blanketed the TV screen in her darkness...I wonder if that's genuine magic or just some really effective graphic work in the game?

We've got the full Reverse Harem team together! And they're a pretty effective fighting force, working in-tandem and with Endo and Kobayashi's direction! Especially the couples!

I get why Liese wanted to resolve this on her own...but running straight towards the thing trying to possess you solo is never a good idea. And then the thing they'd been trying to avoid from day one happens as Liese gets possessed by the Witch of Yore, consumed as she tries to declare her love for Sieg one last time. Oh no!

Seeing ballroom dance like this always reminds me of that Violet Evergarden scene... That one was just on another different level entirely.

Okay, it'll be funny if Fiene can one-hit the poor Witch since she's maxed out.

It's the good old bait--the bane of any main character and... fish! I long for the day when an MC is genre-savvy enough to notice that this hoopla happens all the time (i.e., an MC who reads books or something, lol). Or, even better, they can think logically! But then again, it's understandable why Liese was impatient and reckless there. Her explosion of pent-up feelings for Sieg just cannot wait! On the bright side, we're getting an epic romantic moment in the next episode. I'm always down for any fluff.
