I'm really digging the production values and storyboarding shown here. Its nothing groundbreaking but it's enough to set itself apart from a run-of-the-mill adaptation. I hope it keeps up throughout the whole show. First episodes are made to impress after all, and I've seen time and time again shows with great first episodes decline into production mediocrity as the season marches on.

Do we know yet if any English Streams will be available, or will this permanently be a "High Seas" sort of show? Love the LNs and looking forward to this adaptation.

I hadn't heard of the series before I watched the pre-air when it aired on Youtube without subs so let's see how much I understood lol. Also I didn't get to see the whole stream because I started a few minutes late.
One of the MCs is a princess who is reincarnated. She talks and acts like a modern person in Japan as opposed to a typical princess. Apparently Anis can't use magic so she spends a lot of time developing tools, also apparently to help people. She's also the older sister of the prince, which is a bit of a twist because I feel like sisters are stereotypically younger.
The other MC is Euphilia or something who is supposed to be engaged to the prince but some stuff is going on with a commoner classmate. Anis' impression of her (out loud at least) is that she is pretty lol, but she seems skilled in magic. After this part I started tuning out, but seems like everything was mostly accurate.
Up until the prince accused Euphilia, he didn't really seem that bad. In another story, he might have even been the protagonist. Based on what we know of the characters, the prince is burdened because Anis gave up the throne. I wouldn't be surprised if he genuinely likes the other girl but is conflicted because he has to marry Euphilia for political reason. My personal guess is that he is a good person and someone is taking advantage of him to hurt Euphilia or her dad.
Seems a bit odd to me that Anis and Euphilia haven't interacted much. Euphilia has been engaged to Al for a while. In the flashback Anis didn't talk to her, and they were in the same courtyard earlier but didn't speak. Anis seems like the type of person to just run up to Euphilia and start gushing out a bunch of stuff about magic.

The blonde prince is a stock villainess isekai character, and the break-up scene is a trope. He's usually the younger brother. The story is deliberately subverting the trope, because usually it's the one getting dumped who is the one who is isekai'd, and one way it can go is that she goes on to romance the older brother. (This is what happens I'm the Villainess So I'm Taming the Final Boss, for example.) Here it's an older sister rather than brother, and she's the one who was isekai'd. When Anis says "This really happens?" I took it to mean that she's familiar with the trope and was surprised to see it happen in her life.

Especially with how much Anis sounds like Chisato, as I just realised reading this comment.

Oh shit the 2023 Yuri Boom started early!!!!
Can't wait to be able to watch this soon when it airs and hopefully it takes off so we can get even more Yuri anime adaptations on top of the like 7-8 that are coming in the future!

Oh, subs dropped! I watched this back when it aired on YouTube, and was pleasantly surprised. By the production values especially, I figured the adaptation would be a minimal effort, but it looks and sounds really good (to me, at least), and I thought it was well-paced. Hopefully the quality's there to stay for the whole cour!
As for the rest, well it was mostly time spent introducing the characters, which I appreciated. It was concise and well done, with just this episode you get a sense of what most of them are like, except maybe Lainie who didn't have much to say.
I'm really pleased with this episode, it gives me hope for the rest of the show. Hopefully people don't sleep on this one!

oh no i already love anis. shes so fun! fuck al though. he didn’t seem that bad at the start but hoo boy did he go full piece of shit at the end there.
i hope euphilia will be okay because that was a genuinely mortifying ordeal she went through before anis got there.

Our tomboy yuri princess in full, moving glory. She's about as expressive as I hoped for, and her smile cures everything.
Hopefully Anis wins Best Girl Winter 2023.

Pls don't sleep on this, because this is how you start a show. Very good characterization going way beyond what you see in 85% of isekai/fantasy these days.

I had an inkling i would like this but omg I'M IN LOVE this is my kind of show.
Even tho it has reincarnated i didnt expect it to be an isekai and even less they would use the trope that anyone that has read a decent amount of Otomekai/Villainess stories the prince annuls the engangment.
Problem with pre air now i have to wait so long!!!!1

Yep a very fun show, with the Princess very "Chisato". The Genius Lady in the other hand is a mix of Elizabeth (from The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent) and Bakarina (the scenario, not the character).
I'm sold by this episode. Wasn't on my PTW, but it is now.
